So many differences of opinions and arguments on here but for the first time in a very very long time, the fanbase is unanimously united over the manager

Just that is an achievement for him

I’d love to see his response to such nonsense. We’re getting top 4 this season and winning something this year, I can feel it in my plums.

Several coaches claim to be the inventor of 3-5-2, but the first to successfully employ it at the highest level was Carlos Bilardo, who led Argentina to win the 1986 World Cup.

In 2012 Paul Lambert tried it at Villa but lost 8-0 to Chelsea.

No doubt he is a top manager. But we are top bottlers. Will Conte get some money? Will Levy get him his players?

Id say hes more likely to win fuck all tbh. Not through his own fault. But our penny pinching leaders.
 
The guy has a plan, no doubt.

Whether it's realistic or achievable, that's a very different matter, but he knows what he wants.

my only concern is does conte (like Poch) only have one way of playing ?
is it all down to being fit and playing 3-5-2 (although we appear more 3-4-1-2, or 3-4-3)

After a game where we we played a solid block in the first half and open attacking football in the second when Conte changed it and stated that in interviews after the game, you're concerned he only has 1 way of playing?

I think the first and most important thing for him right now is seeing who is going to stand up to his personality tests

Mixed feelings about that, because Winks being a model pro in training still doesn’t make him a better option than Ndombele on the pitch.

I get the thinking, but sometimes you have to let it be for the team. Gazza today would have been a nightmare for any manager, but who in their right mind would drop him
