Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I have to say this does nothing for me. I hate Klopp for all his antics.

I know people like to jizz over this passion, but I'm just a lot happier in the knowledge we have a manager who can make changes to make the team better.
So you don't see a link between him firing up the crowd and the team responding by more effort and concentration? I agree Klopp is cringe - but Conte doesn't go to that cult like level.

It's one of those "it's a cunt move, but it's our cunt move". If Klopp would be managing Spurs, I'd love it if he acted like he does at Liverpool. Same as with Jose running to the 4th official v City, I loved it, but if it were for any other club, I most likely would be there saying "What an utter prick".

Not really, it's just personal opinion.

Though I do get the whole Italian thing with Conte will make him naturally more excitable than Klopp. I think the performance of the team creates the environment, not the antics of the manager.

Yeah true, I'm happy with a manager who gives us exciting, entertaining, winning football.

He could never say a word or move a muscle and I'd love him for the team play.

Each to their own however.

Looking at his Inter side I think that our attackers need to start taking shouts from just outside the box more.

His Inter side shot a lot from either just outside the box, or from just inside it like how Pierre scored against Leeds. Kane and Son seem to be trying to get closer to the goalie before firing so they could do with releasing it sooner.

most of the team have been playing without drive and passion, the crowd have been struggling supporting a lazy team. Being a player, he knows more than most what sort of difference this makes. Whilst not everyone's cup of tea, I find it refreshing.

I think it's a necessary evil, especially at the moment. I expect it will subside as we stabilise, maybe only making an appearance for bigger games

my only concern is does conte (like Poch) only have one way of playing ?
is it all down to being fit and playing 3-5-2 (although we appear more 3-4-1-2, or 3-4-3)

We were definitely a 3-4-3 on Sunday. We had a lot of trouble linking the back 7 to the front 3 because we didn't have any creative or even forward-thinking CM's on the pitch. Hopefully, that isn't a trend, because I don't see how that is going to continue to work. I know Skipp is probably going to replace Winks in the starting lineup in the next match, but that doesn't really solve the issue, as he's more of a DM as well. A 3-4-1-2 would help, by moving Moura more central and a bit deeper, but honestly, I'd rather see a midfielder in that spot, not a winger/forward.

Our players are shite so he has to drag them up any way he can.
When City are purring along Pep is fairly inanimate, but when they're struggling he's there screaming bloody murder a them too.
No top coach is passive when their team isn't performing.
