If United get Poch, I think United have found their next Fergie, and we will be in a state of disarray when Conte leaves in 1.5-2 years. We will win something in the meantime, but as a long term ambition to be a European elite, we needed a talented manager who could stay and build for years a culture of winning seeded with adequate and ambitious investment.

I know that he's 28 and has had his issues with injuries. But I have a real soft spot for him as a player since his time with Dortmund (23 goals in 37 games) and we need an extra striker.

He was ace at Dortmund.

Think it’s gone. He’s older. Injuries are only going to end up getting worse. We’ll be lumped with another old boy we can’t get off the books.

Newcastle should buy him.

Levy / ENIC are all about the short term band aids rather than finding real long term solutions.

But we never won anything with poch and he had chances.

Completely disagree - Conte will want and attract good players and whoever he signs will likely have sell on value or be a good player formthe next coach to work with

if he’s here for a good two seasons then that’s a big improvement and not to be worried about
