Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Reality isn't counting it because the referees made an error. I'm not in the habit of blaming players because a referee made a mistake. He took a wonderful touch and scored a great goal, which was then disallowed for no valid reason other than VAR teams make mistakes as well.

He's a CF who scored from the penalty spot and scored another valid goal which was unfairly written off. Is that not enough for you? Was he the problem today, really? Or was he the most threatening attacking player we had, and screwed out of a great goal by the referees?

I don't expect a player, WC or otherwise, to be able to undo bad decisions by officials. If they don't make that mistake, the typical lot don't come out to criticise Kane. Is this where we're at now, every time he doesn't score a goal from open play in a game he gets blamed?

Awesome..
Was it a mistake or corruption? Looked onside to me

Are we even sure that the foot is the furthest back portion of his body??

If you're standing up straight the way he is with his arm popped out a bit, surely the shoulder is the furthest back and the line should be drawn from the sleeve if you're drawing it from Kane's sleeve.

It's just a decision that only makes sense if you view it for what it is, corruption.
Corruption in favour of whom? Mantud?

Mistake.

VAR is in no way an instrument suited to scripting football game results and thus over a season creating the storylines of changing ups and downs for the characters of the whole thing. It's not like players and staff can be sanctioned for publically questioning it or the refereeing, is it?

That's literally all he's done all season. Southampton had 9 men behind the ball. Not sure he'd have helped. It would have been like threading a needle through a brick.
Why? It’s better than not even trying to do something different. We tried go down the wings but on one side we had a right footer playing on the left who invariably had to cut back to
Play with his right. Can’t remember a decent cross from him. I still do t get it. We had davies who could have either played as a LWB or orthodox LB but instead chose to play a right footer there who has shown not one ounce of form since joining. Really frustrates and puzzles! Then we play a very slender left footer at rwb who also failed to deliver any decent cross. If our only tactic was to get our WBs to put on crosses they that is indeed a very worrying position.
Surely it wouldn’t have hurt to give tanguy 30 mins in place of either PEH or royale or take off a CD?
At least try something positive or different. However we just played the same system and style all the way through even when we had all the possession in the 2nd half v 10.

Why? What did you see that nobody else saw? The commentators all said we got what we deserved, we were under the cosh before the pen and never looked able to offer anything other than laboured crosses into the box after. Conte said as much and their manager also stated the same. We scored an offside and a foul on the keeper (that's the way it is when jumping with a keeper, always has been always will be, fair is irrelevant). Nobody cheated us. We never looked creative enough. Money would be on conte not picking a Midfield with winks and PEH again. Ffs skipp has offered more coming forward with the ball than those two combined.....
Read what i said. We played shit but 2 shocking decisions cost us. You, var and the ref must be the only ones that think them decisions were right👍

Didn’t look off at the time. Didn’t look off from their pathetically drawn lines either. Had the goal been allowed nobody from Southampton would have felt hard done by. No evidence at all to suggest that it should have been overturned and that is why I think it is corrupt.

Impossible to say that definitively.... What if TN cost us a goal by dossing about?

If he doesn't trust him; then he has good reason not to.
The only time we almost gave a goal away(other than the goal itself) was when Dier made a mess (as always). We needed someone to create chances instead of Doherty or Gil coming on. Some bad decisions from the manager today , hopefully he stops those as he learns more about the squad.

If you think no managers make any mistakes, you are an idiot.
When you stoop to calling names it is childish behaviour.

I defend Conte as the manager of this club.

I look forward to seeing how he develops the players and who he brings in, the selection and tactics he employs.

Have a happy Christmas and I trust you become an encouragement to Conte.

Utter bollocks - we scored an offside and a foul on the keeper - not even the most die-hard saints fan believes that one ....
