He should be entering his prime years soon and has Conte to guide him to it, importantly he stays fit most of the time and has years of experience already in the top 4 team of the best league on the planet.
Our defence is not leaking much at the moment and expected to improve even more.
And he’s central part of it.
Van Dijk was just packing his bags for Liverpool at age of 27.
There isn’t many monumental central defenders around these days it’s how football progressed.
No doubt he can be one of the best in a year or two, can’t see many being lights years ahead of him even now.

I’ve never understood the thought process that if you don’t slate a player on a message board, the club won’t replace them or make purchases. You aren’t on the scouting team, Levy and Paratici aren’t reading your message boards screeds.
