Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I keep seeing Moses brought up as to why Conte could turn Traore into a world beater. Why is everyone so sure and is Moses still alive? If so, wouldn't it just be easier to go get him!?!?!

(I don't want Moses or Traore FWIW)
Dunno, it was jesus' birthday a few days ago. I'm sure he would have gone to the party.

Hang on, let me ask mohammed if he's seen him knocking about.
Apparently the scousers won't let me talk to him, he's gone to some African nations tournament.

I hate how our fixtures have fallen for this month. We really need reinforcements by next week due to the Chelsea - Woolwich - Chelsea fixtures coming up but the history of the Winter window shows that most (if any) business done in January won't really happen until the last week.

Would love to see Eriksen back again. Such a quality player. It would be incredible to see him in a Spurs shirt again.

Eriksen was fucking appalling for his last year. He was so bad he was actually worse than just playing with 10 men. You don't pass to a missing player only for them to immediately get tackled and give it away. There was some stats at the time that really proved it as well. Continuously gave the ball away, made no tackles, no key passes, no shots.

TBH, even if we signed someone now, it's unlikely they would feature for a few weeks anyway, at least until they learn the system.

totally agree. People have short memories, he didn't want a contract renewal, and from that point his form and commitment went through the floor.. it was nearly two seasons!

I feel sorry for him, but he's bloody lucky to be alive, have a second chance, insurance and past salaries to afford him a very comfortable life. He should be with his family, celebrating those who saved him.

So for me, he was a player who had a few good years for us and I wish him well for the future.

if so PSG spanked a huge wedge on him and his salary... best game he's ever played.

I'd like to see more of these mega stars run their contracts down and go for free. It could help level the game a little bit. Even the richest clubs can't keep spending £100m+ on players and lose them for nothing to a rival. It might make them start to be less bullish with what they pay in the first place, bring overall fees down.

Yeah, I hated him by the end. It was beyond belief that it wasn't a downing of tools of sorts. But it's easy to forget that and put on the rose-tinted specs.

:roseunsure:

Although I'm with that Kessie is just good player, but 160k a week is just right money. It's not crazy money this isn't 2010 anymore.

Also part of the benefit of winding your deal down... The next club have less scope to barter your wage demands down due to the 'bargain' (or non-existent) trf fee.

he seems to me very similar to PEH
need something different, a quality midfielder able to pass the ball
milinkovic-savic would be perfect

A lot still hinges upon whether Conte's ultimate plan is 343 or 352...... If a CM2, I totally agree with you... If a CM3 then we need more viable players that can be relied upon regardless (outside of Skipp, anyone else is fairly expendable come the summer when a proper revamp can take place).

Monday: Will you sell Rudiger to us? Chumpski: No!
Tuesday: Will you sell Rudiger to us? Chumpski: No!
Wednesday: Will you sell Rudiger to us? Chumpski: No!
etc, etc, etc
Free transfer in the summer so I guess Paratici is trying to convince him now to sign in the summer
