We were probably looking at a cost free loan with the option of a “we pay 10% of his wage” loan.

I don’t think he was the answer though , he’d be just a expensive stop gap & I think we need some degree of consistency

Last performance was total crap, agreed.
But it does not change the fact that we are unbeaten in league for 8 games.

And you have to be an utter kneejerk to assume that even if we find suitable players for the squad and for the coach that they would start performing and carrying the team from 1st day they arrive. So this urgency stuff and putting our whole season on line on the matter if we sign someone earlier or later is as far from reality as anything I can imagine.

We can’t get anywhere too sides. Been absolutely raped by Chelsea, Goons etc with fat PEH waddling about midfield. We will lose Weds and Sunday and seasons over

Conte has improved us and we can’t beat most of the league bar the top 6 but we will lose every game against a decent side with PEH. Replacement needed by Monday

I'd be surprised if we get that player in January though. I feel Coutinho would have been a good stop gap in the top 4 race. I'm honestly very worried about our lack of depth for key league games coming up, we could be out of the top 4 race by deadline day.

We need to use the Liverpool blueprint. Should have beat them comfortably.

We NEED 3 in the middle against better teams.

Signings would be nice but just having 3 in there will give us more of a chance.
