Really not sure why you're being such a dick about it - someone seemed to be implying that we should spend £400m this month, I disagreed, not sure why it's such a big deal. I certainly didn't mean to be patronising (so apologies if it came across that way) - I'm definitely no finance expert by any means, it just seems that original post about £400m and FFP was written with a complete and utter disregard for club finances generally.

I'll definitely admit I was wrong if he does well for us. I just don't want to sign him because I think it is another make do transfer rather than actually addressing the problem. We don't know how he can defend, his stamina isn't the best, his crossing etc, basically everything thats been covered since he was linked in the summer.
If he does come, I think people might be disappointed in his role. I think Emerson ill still be first choice right back and Traore will be an impact player off the bench. Either on that right side or as alternative in attack. I cant believe he was one of the players that Conte wanted when he joined though, I suspect he has been forced on him a little.

His best season he got 9 assists and 4 goals. My target would be for him to be at 6 or 7 assists and Conte gets attacking production from his wing-backs. I assume, if we sign him, Conte thinks he can get this sort of production from Adama. I think it's a fair expectation.
Think the implication is that Son is now injured this month so Stevie B won't be let go as might need to cover Son's absence.
