Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I imagine we will be going back and fourth with wolves over traore and eventually get him on deadline day, and that will be it. We will then get the usual "its hard to sign players in january" excuse. Nothing changes with this club

De Ketelaere?

He’s got all the hallmarks of a classic Spurs acquisition. Comfortably half the price of everyone else. Few good games. ‘Utility’ attacker. Nice hair.
You can just see can't you. He won't be Ndombele that gives zero fucks. The poor bastard will try desperately miss sitters lose all confidence and will play out his days in cameos off the bench as we chase games against Woolwich and City. It's cast iron nailed on....

This was true, sadly their last window actually featured a few hits.
True. Sadly

Remember those benéfica fans popped up on here laughing so hard Woolwich bought their left back.

8m. Got subbed off after 34mins

Another shocker

I actually think they’ve been saved by some seriously talented youngsters. Take martinelli, smithrowe and saka out and they struggle

Skipp aside our academy has been toss

For sure their academy has helped a lot, if you wanted to buy Saka in this market you're looking at 80 million ffs.

And then on top of that Ramsale, White and Tomiyasu have shored up the defence. They've improved their spine whilst Saka's gone up a level and Smith Rowe has emerged. But hey, still can't get past Nottingham Forest!

Yeah tee hee hee. But then I watch Saka and get an uncomfortable feeling I'm seeing a footballer on a Bale like trajectory. 😒

Don't think he'll ever be as good as Bale's peak (or that close, tbh) but I can see him being a double figures for goals and assists, consistent performances every season kind of winger. Technically good, great attitude, and perfect for the PL due to his speed and directness.

But then I might be underestimating him. I didn't really see 'it' at first when he came through, I just thought he looked promising in an Woolwich team full of duds.

from the outside to me it looks like the scouting systems head is at fault
we buy cheap players and most can't get up to level needed
we buy expensive and they can't reproduce their form in EPL

we blame Levy for buying cheap (ok i accept that one, yet when he spends big Ndombele & GLC £100M + wages) then its still his fault
for me its head of scouting, if scouts are hopeless then get rid, if you don't get rid of scouts then its the head of scouting at fault

I don’t think we even use scouts. We just buy players agents push forward to us. The latest being Traore.
