He’s a striker and we already have Kane, so…. Obviously it’s a no

They’ve paid their stadium offNo saudi owners, spent big in the summer and had no fans in stadium the same amount of time as us, so what the fuck is our excuse for why that lot have real money to spend this window and we don't.
Levy told us stadium costs would not affect transfer spending on more than one occasion

Watch back his game vs Inter tonight if you get the chance. Came on and played 50 mins (30 ET) against tired legs. Looks half the player he was, to me anyway. We'd do well to avoid.
He’s better than Winks or Lo Go Slow. And probably about Pointy Shouty Pierre’s level with more goals and better set play. Problem is he will cost more than 3 shekels spread over a five year contract and Tavistock Group won’t like thatLook, if we’re buying low-upside mid table mediocrities, the list begins and ends with James Ward-Prowse and I’m not joking.

Emerson is more than good enough to be a squad player. He's decent defensively, it's just that he's hopeless going forward. Sometimes it makes me wonder if he's even brazillian...Given we want a team that can consistently be in top 4/compete for the league, only Loris Kane and Son (maybe Reg, Skipp, Romero and Dier) are good enough to be in the starting 11. The rest of our current first 11 are good enough to be squad players (bar Emerson), but should not be playing regularly in the first team - then our current 2nd team players simply aren't good enough to even be in our squad and should all go.
son is not consistent enough to be starting every game for a top side. hes ineffective against sides that look to sit back and counter, hes far more useful against the better sides who actually want to impose themselves on us as he then has space to get in behind and run into, which is basically his main asset.Given we want a team that can consistently be in top 4/compete for the league, only Loris Kane and Son (maybe Reg, Skipp, Romero and Dier) are good enough to be in the starting 11. It was the right call. Rudiger was the last man back. So Rudiger and Kepa switched places. It’s was just weird looking.
Yeah it's the 25m debt service that really fucks us
Yes but the standard excuse being rolled out is its Covids fault these days.Levy told us stadium costs would not affect transfer spending on more than one occasion
Source? Wasn’t that Matthew Collecott?Levy told us stadium costs would not affect transfer spending on more than one occasion

Or a sale. Sentiment aside how much potential is really there?
NopeRemember when we thought we were getting a £150m war chest for Conte this January?![]()
Having a decent and versatile squad player occupying a club-trained spot for the various HGP rules is one of the great benefits of an academy.Or a sale. Sentiment aside how much potential is really there?
