20 games left this season to secure a top 4 spot. If we are to 'panic' buy in January, they need to be fit and in form; ready to hit the ground running and play right away. By the time the window closes; 18 games.

There is also an international break at the end of the month which will give players a chance to get up to speed with tactics.

Traore - Ticks all the boxes. Fit, Prem ready and unlikely to be called up for Spain. But is he good enough?

Dybala - It would take the whole window to negotiate a deal and then he'd be off on international duty. Always injured, never played in prem.

Eriksen - Fitness a doubt. Certainly wouldn't be match ready.

Vlahovic - Not sure where he plays with Kane in the team; unless Kane wants to become a number 10.

Pau Torres - With Dier and Sanchez playing well; and Romero to come back; CB seems to not be a concern for the rest of this season.

Martial / Lingard - Not worth discussing. United won't sell to us!!

Kessie - PEH and Skipp playing well as defensive mid - Not sure what he would offer - doesn't seem to be an attacking or progressive player.

Have we been linked with anyone else?

Certainly the ITK's have been very quiet this window!! haha

Anyone of those bar Eriksen would be a MASSIVE improvement on the current shit-show of cloggers and ergo increases our Top 4 chances

No brainer

McKennie is probably worth adding if you want to edit. ;)

Really? So who do they replace?

Traore - Emerson? Never played as a wing back and Emerson has had one of the best tackle and interception stats in the league.

Vlahovic - You'd drop Kane for him?

Dybala - Presumably drop Lucas (who happens to be our best attacking player this season). What happened the last time we dropped an in form Moura?

Torres - Dier is our leader at the back. Has Torres played in a back 3?

Kessie - Does he offer anything that PEH and Skipp doesn't? I've only watched his youtube highlights but it seems his role is simply to break up play and pass the ball safely.

Wolves have signed a replacement for Traore.

Portugal U21 winger Chiquinho from Estoril in a deal worth up to £4.2million.

January 18th. 13 days left.

There is no reason to think that and plenty of reasons to think it is the exact opposite.
There is every reason to think that, that is part of their job and what they are paid for - working with and getting the most out of players. And if they think player A will work better than player B than that's who I would chose to sign.

They are not doing this in isolation either but with plenty of people around them to do the research. At the end of the day we will never know for sure as all we ever hear are rumours, opinions and conjecture and we never know the full story.
