Our midfield minus Skipp (who frankly is still developing and isn't ready to be a league contending starting midfielder yet) has less technical proficiency than City and Chelsea's defensive backups.

That tells the story in a word.

There's a few like that on here. Claim to be ENIC neutral (neither in or out) but relentlessly make posts defending the cunts.

It's almost like they're ashamed to admit what they are.

At least the likes of Airfixx Airfixx or The Outsider The Outsider ain't afraid to show their true colours and deserve some respect for that.

This lot just come across as a bit cowardly tbf.

I'm not an ENIC supporter, claims man whose every other post is supporting ENIC.

Oh and the Gil signing is so fucking annoying. We're counting pennies to bring in Traore but were so happy to spunk 20 odd million on a prospect who doesn't really suit either the manager we hired in the first place or the guy who replaced him.

He also doesn't look like a PL wide player, not in a million years, which was his whole role and where he was successful in La Liga from what people have told me. Just another shitty punt and money pissed up the wall that could've gone in to players who actually upgrade us.
Again Olise went for £8m last summer and already looks way better than Gil. Seriously i dont know much about players, i dont watch foreign football at all but i reckon i could do a better job than the pillocks we have in charge by just watching some championship games. Where do we find them?

How many players have the top 6 signed so far?

They all did far better/more business than us in the summer (United and Woolwich) or are like Liverpool or City where it's legitimately hard to upgrade at all and they don't really need to rush themselves in the market as they're not desperate.

They also didn't just recently hire an elite manager with the promise of heavy investment, and one whose system requires very specific players, many of which we don't possess so need to acquire as soon as we can.

And that has got what to do with backing our manager and addressing the years of chronic under investment in our squad, exactly?

It's like people aren't aware Woolwich spent 150m in the summer and another 150m a couple of summers before that, much of which was on young, high potential players who they know will develop. Whether it works or not they are backing the project, and because they did that they don't need Jan signings.

United are the same. People can question their decisions but they spent 130m in the summer + Ronaldo on huge wages, so there's an attempt at ambition there. Teams like City, Liverpool and Chelsea are more in that 'we only sign if the right player is available' stage because they've already invested in the project in the past.
