I said 3rd biggest not 3rd best. You wanna tell me sevilla and Bilbao are bigger than valencia youre talkin shit!
Sevilla is a big, big club in Spain. And in my books, they're now more than on par with Valencia, which has had major issues for like a decade now and the club is a shadow of its former self. Meanwhile Sevilla are attracting very good players, winning European cups, now pushing Real in the league (though they won't win it)...

You can have the best scouts, the best Director of Football, the best stadium in the world, the best training facilities in the world and one of the top 4 managers in the world if you don’t spend the money and keep haggling the rest is a waste of time.

Given how shocking our recruitment has been for so long, I can't actually fathom why some people here are moaning about us loaning players.

I mean, we have half a dozen players that are both unplayable and unsellable, and some of you want us to just go and dump tens of millions on more players?

This loan to buy malarkey isn't limited to Spurs, teams all over the world are fed up with expensive flops and now trying before buying
Pal, I'm not against loans.

But them loans with an obligation to buy, that's like buying the player really, but you only cough up the money later. So it's still risky.

That's why an option yo buy is much better, much safer...especially for someone like Kulusevski, who's flopped badly at Juve

You mean Romero, Emerson, Gil and Gollini. Romero was by a country mile our best defender until his injury and along with Skipp our best player under Nuno. He has just been injured so long we have forgotten him.
Ok, but I was talking about GLC in comparison to the other players he joined the club at the same time, Ndombele, Clarke and Sess. There were bits of 19/20 GLC was one of our best players imo

Why not loan Gil to a good championship team? No one can tell me there wouldnt be takers for him. There is zero use sending him back to Spain. The decision making from these utter incompetents is starting to reach parody levels.

Probably because the player has to agree to the move as well....did you ever think of that...?

We are in the shit right now I get it but the level of irrationally is hilarious, literally trying to find anything to blame the club for, so tedious 🤦‍♀️

The Latest: Paratici gets to work…

As per L’Arena (via CH), there has been a ‘first phone call’ in recent days between Paratici and the Serie A side’s sporting director Tony D’Amico over a transfer for the 27-year-old.

It is believed that Spurs are ‘ready’ to table a €20 million (£16.6m) bid, plus defender Ryan Sessegnon on loan, to sign Barak ‘immediately’ and before the Monday deadline.

Verona president Maurizio Setti is apparently open to taking this offer, as it would be ‘very well received’ him personally, but D’Amico ‘appears much less convinced’.

The Verdict: What Spurs need?

The 6 foot 3 attacker has been in fine form for Verona this season, supplying eight goals and six assists over 19 league appearances from midfield whilst becoming a key player under manager Igor Tudor.
