We could have joined if we accepted a swap for fucking Paredes, that's a player that we desperatly need here.
Looks to be lots of plates spinning in the air :
1. We need to loan out players - preferably 2 or 3 of Ndombele, Lo Celso, Dele, Gil (nobody is wanting to buy any of the first 3, maybe try to sell in summer if they have a successful loan), maybe Rodon ?
If none of the above move, we might get one in but that might be it (we already have pretty much maxed out on the existing 25 man squad)
2 Our short list for incomings seem currently to be : Kulusevski and Bentancur (both Juventus), Luiz (Villa - who probably not by coincidence are rumoured to be interested in Bentacur ). No RWB or links to any which is a surprise to me.
Still time for a few more links to appear or firm up (eg Morata).
Looks to be Monday before we see the ins and outs.

I'd rather buy him than most names mentioned this window. Wont help us now but he looks a really talented player.
He's on a fat contract for years now; we have no leverage over him.

If you read those facts you’d see that the league cup was been won by Chelsea or Man City in 7 of the past 8 years.
No one has said only two teams can win competitions but I would argue that dirty money reduces the competition upon which sport thrives.
I’ve also said none of this is an excuse for our internal incoherence.

You couldn't ask him to do things you don't ask of other players, that'd be a violation of the contract, so the 8 hours a day thing is off. You could train him alone, maybe, or with the U-23s. But thats about it.
And that's what so annoying. Despite all the ups and downs this season,we are,with the right commitment well within a chance of top 4.
