Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

- Kulu and Benta in

- Gil out

- Dombs on way out imminently

Honestly, we bring in a decent RWB and manage to ship out Dele and/or Gio...and that'd have been a decent window.

All happening late, but only the final result matters. We saw it at Leicester 😁

I can't see Brighton letting Lampety go in January, maybe if we offered them any two from Doherty, Rodon, Tanganga plus cash so they're not scrabbling for replacements with one day to go, I reckon they'd do well at comfortable midtable sides. But I doubt he's going anywhere.

Thanks for posting, but that’s not filling me with joy.

Bentancur has never blown me away. Ever. Few times I’ve seen him I’ve wondered exactly what he is, 6,8 or hybrid and never figured it out.
I find it really hard to get my head round the notion that Conte wanted Kulusevski at Inter - but then he did want Eriksen (and then struggled to figure out what to do with him) so…
When I had seen Hojbjerg more than you’ve likely seen Bentancur, I was also wondering whether he was a 6 or an 8. Now I think he’s more of an 8.

Conte did figure out what to do with Eriksen in the end, it just took a little time. I think he’ll figure out both Bentancur and Kulu in time for next season. If it takes a few months for them to get up to speed then that’s ok imo.

I think you’re right. Brighton are having a great season. They also have a loaded owner and don’t need to sell now. That said, they do have a major pipeline of youth coming through. That will mean blooding them in the team and selling on when they want to. Could displace some of their players over time.

Jury is out on these two from Juventus, potentially very good signings but no guarantees, if we get a quality RWB than I think it's acceptable - but the last position is the most key to us finishing in the top 4 I think
