yeh agree on this....all our rivals so far have weakend their squads (in United case quite drastically).

I don’t think Hojbjerg is either a great 6 or a great 8. He’s a hybrid, but not necessarily in the good way.
Great attitude etc, does some good shit, but some big flaws.
I wish we had Phil Jones gurning face as an emoji. Useful anyone does anything stupid, such as signing Phil Jones…

We’re at an all you can eat buffet, so far weve only decided on a couple of dishes and still considering what else to have from the mountain of food on offer
Also we need to think about not eating too much otherwise we’ll be full and could miss out on some delightful dishes being offered up in a few months time…

Looks like Kulusevski and Bentancur are done deal atm which is good - and I assume we would prefer to make each permanent (which the latter would be if we are successful this season).
However we start with 23 players in the squad who are over age 21 and need to be registered at end of Transfer Window (Kane, Winks, Tanganga, Austin, Dele, Sessegnon, Lloris, Doherty, Sanchez, Dier, Rodon, Reguilon, Davies, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso, Lucas, Ndombele, Son, Bergwijn, Gollini, Royal and Romero plus Sessegnon and Gil who will need to be registered next season for UEFA purposes.
So atm we are at the maximum 25 players in the squad.
Do you have any news on which players deals have almost certainly been done - Ndombele to Lyon seems to be heavily rumoured and Gil could be a done deal. But Lo Celso ?
Seems to me that we need to know definitely who is definitely leaving before being able to sign others now ?!
And also know how many we can get in a few months time rather than having to offload them in the summer first - hopefully the likes of Ndombele will play on loan back in the comforts of Lyon and not be a nightmare to offload in the summer ?
Maybe we could try playing Bentancur at Right Wing Back

Exactly the same, and it was accepted. Player simply chose the dippers (understandably).
I fucking hate ENIC but this wasn’t a transfer blunder, just basic sporting reality.
Juventus sold Bentancur for €19m and will buy Zakaria for like €10m? Profit + a player who is about the same level if not better.
We were offering less to agents as Mendes brought it to Spurs' attention and was after a cut and then Diaz's agents shit themselves or something...or some other rumour/excuse to not blame the club.
He’s hard to categorise but he’s useful all over. Clearly he can play key passes in the final third but also decent breaking up play in our half.
He’s not the kind of player where you thank god he’s playing in a CL game but with his attitude I think you can have 2 or 3 at his level in the starting 11 and compete at the top level.
It’ll be interesting to see how Bentancur compares to Hojbjerg.

Unless we can get the right player I'd rather we wait. We've already wasted so much money trying to replace Walker. Anyone watch that Atal fella in France? He was considered by many to be the perfect rwb until he suffered a serious injury.
