Was Paraticci a good appointment?
was Paraticci any good at Juve?
Levy speaks about the DNA, and hires a DOF who is anti DNA.
How do we get out of this?
I know Ndombele was never accepted by the fan base(the majority at least).
If the coach invested a bit of belief in that guy, it would cost us way less and profit us more.
We play PEH, SoN and Kane regardless of how horrible they’ve been all season. But we castigate Ndombele even before he touches a ball.
Now we are likely going to bring in players who are cast offs from Juve.
Makes no sense to me.
I wouldn’t want us to write Ndombele off.
We need a rebuild, sadly I don’t even think it’s with Paraticci.

Defending Ndombele = credibility destroyed.

Juve have gotten Zakaria for peanuts (£4m). He's a beast. We get two underwhelming benchwarmers for £20m apiece. WTAF. I can't understand why we weren't interested at that price.

Honestly, I've no fucking idea what is going on here. Does Conte have any say in this? Did he really choose Dekulus* and RodBent*? It's really starting to feel like Itchyprat has no connections at all and is just being shat on by his old schoolmates.

* Anyone can make up shit nicknames, but at least mine are knob-gags!
Zakaria was going to be the next big thing but it has never happened. If he really was a beast he wouldn't be moving on for less than he cost Moenchengladbach. Bayern looked at him and said no thanks.

Haha you believe the fans who are slating a player leaving them? .... oh dear what a fail.

Try having an independent thought not just believing every piece of internet bullshit that comes your way, these are now Spurs players at least let them kick a ball before cunting them off.

Back to following social media you go there's a good little lemming ......

Uh they're delighted he's leaving them. They've thought these two players are shit for years, they haven't suddenly turned on them. They might be pissed off if they lost De Ligt, Chiesa, Dybala etc, but Bentancur and Kulusevski? They couldn't give two shits. They're delighted, we've just funded their Vlahovic transfer, happy days.

I thought the criteria for this window should have been 1 or 2 first team players, by which i mean replacing a couple of Emerson, Davies, Winks, Hojbjerg, even Moura (which Diaz would have done) in the starting 11. I really hope i'm wrong but i just dont see that we've achieved that. Kuluveski, 21 on a loan deal with an option, ok, for the longer term maybe worth a punt. The midfield bloke just looks like another add on to our underwhelming midfield options. Feels like we've shuffled the squad a bit and hope for the best. None of our rubbish leaving permanently isnt great either. If this is our window its a 2/10 from me.

Still don't understand if Conte prioritised a RWB this window why have we signed 2 players that don't play as a RWB, this club make no sense sometimes lol

Ah well just gotta hope that Conte is happy with the business this TW, suspect the make or break window will be the Summer one though...

We brought in a CM - hoping that Ndombele and Lo Celso move on so we needed an extra body in there. Not as creative a cm as I'd personally like but Conte has shown by playing Hojbjerg and Skipp together that he's ok without creativity

He's also brought in someone who can add creativity to the team - and who Conte wanted before he went to Juve. With just Kane, Son, Moura and Bergwijn (and Gil who is not experienced enough) in attack the extra body was needed.

Is it enough ? No not in terms of numbers or preferred quality, but January windows are like that, 2 players in is decent, especially if we can lose a few we don't want (cough, Ndombele, Lo Celso). Sure I'd like a RWB and an extra striker, but getting 4 decent players in January would be a minor miracle

As I said at the outset it depends which reports we believe. I could well believe we wanted Lamela off the wage bill and we valued Gil loads based off lo celso, sessignon, Ndombele etc. Equally could easily believe we got some cash value for Lamela to bring the price down.

Let's agree to disagree and leave it.
I suspect it's actually somewhere in the middle. The idea Lamela was worth anymore than £10m with his history is wishful thinking.

What scares me, is if a little kid from Spain was valued at 20-30m what are we getting for 20m in Bentacour.

Kulusevski is an 18 month loan. Interesting.

Having an extended loan allows a player to be signed for a much longer period - 18 month loan, 5 year contract with +1 year option - theoretically gives you 7.5 years. All good if he turns out to be a quality player and still gives the option of ditching him if he does not.

Getting rid of deadwood is now a massive problem for many EPL clubs, loan to buy with luck avoids that risk, although some players play well until they get a contract and then form drops of a cliff, let's hope we haven't got two more of them.

N’Dumbele is an example of the sunk cost fallacy. Stop chucking good money after bad, get rid at all costs.
To be honest, when we signed him, he'd just had a pretty successful season in Ligue 1 and in the CL. But, talent isn't everything and it was already out there that his character wasn't the best. I suppose our scouting team was aware of that, but someone must have thought it'd get sorted under Poch. It didn't, it's proper backfired. And for 50-60mil, that's a costly error.

But now we have a chance to send him back to a weaker league, where he might come back to life, helping us recoup some of that cash.

So let's wait and see. Might not all be lost

Maybe if this was two years ago and he'd only struggled under Poch but Ndombele hasn't shone now under 4 managers. There's been the odd fleeting moment but it doesn't justify the time or cash spent anymore.
If I was paying a player 300k+ a week I'd give him 6-12 months MAX to show he's worthy, or he's being sold ASAP, even if there's a language barrier. I've signed the guy to play football at a very high standard for that money, not for him to become a master linguist or whatever. Being in a different country and around different team mates, unless the place is absolutely toxic, shouldn't effect your footballing ability and contribution in the slightest! Unless, you're a striker and being played as a makeshift CB! :contethumb:

Fair enough, he looks pretty impressive to me, but I guess we'll see over the next season.

I'm really curious to know if Conte has picked these guys out, though, I don't see how they move the needle right now. We already have everything these guys seem to bring. Losing Gil and getting these in seems like a backward step (not that Gil was making stuff happen, but he clearly has potential).

Sweet fuck all

We're not comparable to Chelsea in that regard, Mendy was a steal, Kovacic has been brilliant, Jorginho has been fantastic, Havertz scored the winning goal in a CL final, Ziyech has showed his ability even if he hasn't spent enough time on the pitch, Pulisic might be a bit pricey but still has time. You've also left out signing Thiago Silva on a free. I think the only two ones there who are complete failures are Kepa and Werner, and the thing with them is they can afford to fuck up a couple times, we can't. Romero, Hojbjerg and Reguilon are the only 3 signings we've made in the past 4 years who could be called anything close to a 'success', and to be honest I'm still unsure on PEH. When you're fighting an uphill battle financially you can't afford to make transfer mistakes and we've done it a million times, to say 'we're doing pretty well compared to Chelsea' is mind boggling especially considering they've won a bloody Champions League in that time. And trust me I don't like giving them praise, this is just facts.
Ok, I respect your opinion. However a good proportion of our buys have been relative failures. I think man for man, judging of a player has been a win or not, we are about the same.

Also, we get far better value for money, most of the time. Sure, they have done some great deals. So have we though, Reggie for that price is a steal. Is Stevie half the player Pulisic is at half the cost? I don’t think so!

Yes, they are in a different league to us financially, but we punch above our weight. I think they screw up just as much as we do. Drink water anyone? Barkley? Selling Lukaku and buying him back? 😂
