Yes, but you gotta factor in that Kane has often been injured in the 2nd half of a season. Sonny often has a little issue here and there too. I love Lucas, but he's not the most decisive player. Bergy has had more bad games or no games at all than he's had good ones. We don't know what Dej will provide in the PL...maybe he'll be a hit, maybe not.

So that's quite risky. And an extra body or two wouldn't go amiss. Safety net and all that

It definitely didn’t prove that.

There’s no fucking upside to Sissoko being shit. Other transfers not working out doesn’t make that 50m in fees and wages any better.

Our backward trajectory as a club coincided with us buying and playing donkeys like Sissoko.

It was spunking 50m in fees and wages on donkeys like Sissoko that got us in this mess.

I’d risk signings like Ndombele and Lo Celso every year over spunking money on players you know are shit and are only ever going to be shit.
 
The sad thing is that Conte will drag this sack of crap to a top 4 challenge and Levy and his apologists will say see this team is good enough, ignoring that it was all Conte and not this pile of garbage we have as a "squad."
 
The fact we throwing players out just shows we got some real immature, lazy and toxic players. Probably why when new signings come in, they also end up the same.

Think after Jose saying it then Nuno and now Conte it's finally hitting home.

Hopefully the new signings will be better not just in ability but also their mentality and acting like a pro

But we're playing a different set up with 3 forwards and not 1 striker.
We could play Kane, Kulu, Moura, or Son, Bergwjin and Kane 5 players for 3 positions gives us a lot of choice.
