Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Juventus confirming 2nd transfer

Tottenham Hotspur for the temporary transfer until 30 June 2023 of the right to sports services of the football player Dejan Kulusevski for a consideration of € 10 million, of which € 3 million for the football season 2021/2022 and € 7 million for the 2022/2023 football season.

Furthermore, the agreement provides:
• the obligation on the part of Tottenham to acquire the sporting performances of the player al
achievement of certain sporting goals during the 2022/2023 season;
• the right by Tottenham to acquire the player's sports performance on a permanent basis, if these objectives are not achieved.

The consideration agreed for the definitive sale, in both cases, is € 35 million, payable in five years.

Poor squad to me. Poor negotiation with Everton if Ali is a free panic because nobody really wanted him. Poor players coming in. Looks like a major let down again with a slight chance of getting top 4. Why we are not in for lingard on loan is crazy if he goes back to West ham he could make the difference.
Ali out is a win.
Please explain Why would utd give us lingard and we in direct competition for 4th ??

exactly that. son should of been sold a couple years ago too imo. winks would of prob got 40m as well. selling players at the right time and reinvesting it correctly is what makes the jump to the next level, liverpool got it right and won the two big ones thanks to it.

Liverpool had it forced upon them.

Strategically speaking. them selling Sterling/Suarez/Coutinho was no different to us selling Berba/Modric/Bale........ Only our fans spent the next decade ripping on us for being a selling club.

......Unless you spend it right it means nothing.

Even when you do spend it well, replacing mercurial difference makers can still see you dropp a level or two cos you can replicate their output man for man.... (See Leicester Mahrez/Kante/McGuire)

People who are melting down aren't seeing the bigger picture, let 4 players leave who Conte doesn't want to use and signed players in who Conte can use, now he has options who he can rely on...if he can't rely on Ndombele, Lo Celso Gil and Alli what's the point of keeping them?

Only disappointing thing for me is not getting a RWB which by all accounts was a priority and the I didn't expect a backup sticker because its January, I accept that.

Hardly any need to meltdown over it though, Conte will be far happier with the squad than he was last month.

But we're playing a different set up with 3 forwards and not 1 striker.
We could play Kane, Kulu, Moura, or Son, Bergwjin and Kane 5 players for 3 positions gives us a lot of choice.
You've replied, but you've not answered really.

The fact remains that out of those 5:

- Two are injury risks

- One doesn't really provide goals or assists, at least not at a high nor regular clip

- One has been in good form of late, but that's after he spent many a month producing zilch

- One is totally new to Spurs and PL football

Winks and Dier are still at the club. Two bang average players. Showed Ndomble the exit door (on loan), looks like Dele is going on a permanent and Lo Celso as well. Why keep average players when we are letting go of our creative players who can actually change a game (I realise that dele and ndomble need a kick up the ass). Only for his brace against Leicester, Bergwijn be gone as well.

Am I the only one who thinks its insane we are showing the door to 3 attacking midfielders- ok Lo Celso, not that disappointed.

Doherty, Gil, Sanchez, Winks, Davies and Dier. Seriously poor players. They wouldn't make the starting 11 of any of the top 6 or in line as subs, so why are they good enough for us. January is a joke of transfer window in general, but serious change/s of things need to come this summer.

The fee reported by the Chav cunt is bullshit. It's a way for Everton to get rid of FFP. Everybody now reporting that the fee will be much higher than 10M, and definetely not free.

Amazing how that certain Telegraph reporter always paints Spurs news in the worst way possible.

Not like we need much help. We mostly do it ourselves but still

Kane and Son haven't been scoring for fun.

Mate we none of us know the kind of adjustment Kulu and Betancur will make to the EPL. Spin it any way you want we are seriously gambling our top four effort
