Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think the Lo Celso deal won't go through. I refuse to believe we will let 4 players leave and bring in only 2.

Let's be realistic, neither Tanguy or Dele were getting any game time at all. Tanguy wasn't even training with the team. Gil and Gio were barely making appearances.

Sure, they were all options, but it wasn't like we shifted 4 regular starters and only replaced with two. I'd like another just to provide some coverage, but I think we'll be okay.

All four of them started against Morecambe. I know, I know, but interesting factoid.

It's going to be so weird if there's a simple "We have agreed the permanent transfer of Dele to Everton. We wish him all the best." tweet from the SpursOfficial account.

The last two years have been rocky but he was so good for us before that. Almost 200 league appearances. Sad if his departure is just a whimper.
:pochcry:

I, for one, am really sad to see Dele go. I think the two hamstring injuries did for him, but for a couple of years he was absolutely magic. And I know he can be a bit of a Wally on instagram but he’s hardly unique in that regard and he always seemed like a good kid when interviewed.
This killed him.

The Poch training regime done it. He's been doing intense double sessions since he was 17, he played more games than almost any other player by the age of 22.

That volume of training and game time for a kid who is still developing physically is just too much to handle. Not surprised he had reoccurring injuries in the hamstrings. I've seen it in so many youngsters in my job.

Unfortunately he hasn't adapt his playing style. He needs to focus on his strengths which were always ghosting in the box. He has by far of any player I've seen since Sheringham been the best at timing runs into the box.

If he sorts his shit out and Lampard allows him to play a position he can thrive in, he'll be in for a shout at getting into the WC squad. Southgate is still an admirer of his.

Twitter link playing up.

Anyway, Lo Celso confirmed.
The Swede, just makes me think of...

You stop. Bloody moaners just moan about Spurs. Dele should have been loaned with a chance to return. Like Danny Rose was once upon a time. If it didn't work out in the end, then so be it, but I would not have sold him now... especially not with ten minutes left of the transfer window....
I thought your first several posts were just clever sarcasm and it gave me a nice laugh that such stupid comments would wind people up. Now I'm not so sure and a bit scared.

We can give him a nice send off when Everton next come for their annual beating.
