Honestly I think that would be a gift to Woolwich, but I’m not unintrigued.
This reeks of a nelson and Saha January window. Two players to help patch some holes with incredibly middling quality, to hopefully get top 4. Then in theory invest in the summer.
I suspect we will have a similar outcome as that year. Barely miss top 4 after suffering injuries to a couple key players who don't have reasonable backups because we're too cheap. Then unable to get anyone of quality in the summer without CL. And watch our quality players leave too. Along with our manager.
It's incredible if it wasn't also so sad.

The question is whether he is content with the action taken during the window, not whether he's content with the squad. He clearly won't be, and has said consistently this is going to take a while. Is it enough done for now?

Pretty pleased with the window, considering it’s January. Bentancur and Kulu have high level experience and should become contributing squad members immediately.
Clearing out Dele, Ndombele, and Lo Celso (pending their buy options), really sets us up nicely for the summer to go after high-level players that Conte wants that wouldn’t be available in Jan. Ndombele and Dele are two of our top four wage earners and don’t contribute to them team, getting them out is massive. Lo Celso is also in the 7 or 8 of our wage earners.
Overall it’s a solid window, annoying we couldn’t get a RWB in particular. But we were more active than we’ve been in ages and some proactive movements to set things up for summer, where the Conte era will be made or broken. 7/10 for me. More than I expected from Spurs in January at any rate.
