Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Because they spent hundreds of millions in the last few windows and thus aren't about to go and spend that again, whereas we spent half of that or less? United signed Sancho, Ronaldo and Varane, Woolwich brought in 4/5 first team players, Chelsea have an almost perfect squad and the same with City.

I'm relatively content with this window, it's a 5/10 for me. Not good or bad. But this false comparison with our rivals needs to stop.
Pretty sure in our last few windows, we have several of our highest signings ever. They were just shit signings.

Given every time Spurs have spent big, it's blown up in our faces, and every time we spent less on players who fit the requirements of the club it worked much better, the lesson is pretty clear. We do well when we spend on role players with room to grow, not superstars. Conte also wants guys to do roles, not because they have big price tags. If he ok'd the signings and leavings, I think that is the only verdict that matters.

Manchester United's squad is miles better than ours. Even the Woolwich cunts have a better squad.

We only have 2 reliable goalscorers, no creative mid, useless RWBs...

Utd need a defensive midfielder. their fans are up in arms that they won't sign one.

Woolwich don't have a striker, Aubamayeng is off to Barca, if he doesn't leave then Arteta won't play him either way they're left with nketiah and Lacazette who have 3 goals between them this season.

As for us...everyone wants a creative midfielder but don't actually realise that Conte's system creates enough chances (we had 4.9 xg against Leicester highest in the Prem this season) we've not been linked to a creative mid all window...there's a reason for that.

RWB is disappointing I agree but it's not make or break
