He's not good enough to get minutes over the other guys in the remaining 19 games, so if we want him to get playing time and develop, we needed to send him somewhere he definitely would play.
We wont. We didnt when we saved on Bale Rose, Toby, Lamela, Sissoko, Vinicius wages in the summer and yet we've seemingly had to clear the decks wages wise again. Not complaining about the outs it needed doing and fair play for getting it done but something feels a bit odd about all the cost cutting without reinvesting.
