But that's because they have good players on poor form. We can't just keep hoping they won't sort it out, and actually got a top 4 standard squad ourselves.
There's no good way to spin this... if we are going to go for 3-4-3 with 2 plodders in midfield fine... but then we need a RWB who can contribute to attack. Now we have nothing.
I agree with some of the points about Dele... but he didn't get the chance to go out on loan and rediscover some form. That's what I would have given him... last year, or now. Then he'd be on his last chance.
Incomings are fine. Transfer dealings are ok aside from that one... except for the fact that not enough have come in to replace the leaving players... Hopefully you're right and somebody else comes in tonight... not holding my breath, but maybe can delude myself with a bit of hope until the end...
Makes sense from his point of view. Maybe an element of homesickness too? I can't see how it helps us, unless we are already looking to put him in the shop window for a sale in the summer.

Hate to say it but we seemed to what on paper are our creative players and replaced with dross. Yeah get rid of tanguy gio dele Gil but at least get someone with some flair and creativity who can pick a pass. Said it before why do we need this Ben player his not needed. Conte doesn’t want to give our youth players a chance but is this guy better than what we? No. Does he offer anything different ? No. Could white do the same job? Possibly. I don’t get what’s going on. If lampard gets a tune out of dele and Dvb you’d say their midfield looks better than ours. Add in favoured and Allen and it’s much stronger.
