Even with VAR those still seem to go 50/50 depending on.

Really it just shows how shit the Premier League refs are. No consistency across the board.

I'm really getting to the point where I want to see referees mic'd up and allowed to announce the reasons why like they do in the NFL.

Totally agree

Even the VAR decisions we can all hear what is being said and why a decision has been made

Why not in football

64th minute: Kane and Spurs robbed of 3-1 by Ederson
74th Kane and Spurs robbed of 3-1 by VAR
90th minute: Spurs robbed of 2-1 by VAR
95th minute: Absolute scenes via the world class Harry Kane

This was deserved and awfully rewarding. I’d say on the level of Kaboul and that 3-2 gem at Woolwich.

Kane was sublime tonight. He always terrorises these and looks like he’s enjoying his football and has found a bit of forgiveness with the fans, which can’t hurt.

Thought Kulusevski was fantastic as well. Looks a real natural fit in the system we played together, defo got a good football brain and worked his bollocks off. Showed heart, love the guy already.

Thank fuck dier is back. Romero is top drawer

My mum passed away on Tuesday, ripe old age and long expected but I've still been a mess.

Came home this afternoon, popped a massive THC capsule, watched this glorious spectacle unfold and now I'm going to have sexual intercourse with my wife. Thank you Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Never mind the whole pace debate; I think Kulu is gonna be crackin' for us in that respect.
Pace doesn't break a disciplined defence, intelligence does. Intelligent movement from the forwards, with an intelligent passer to find them.

Early doors yet, but it seems that we've picked up a couple of pretty intelligent, "head up" players in Kulusevski and Bentancur.

My dislike of Spurs began in 1981 and grew over the years - this result just added another level of dislike.
courtesy of blue moon……:contehmm:
On my 50th birthday ten years ago we had a party, one of my best mates who lives in the next village is an old school United fan. When he arrived he was with his cousin who I didn't know, he turned out to be old school City.

Instead of wishing me a happy birthday he laid into me with all the reasons why he hated Spurs, starting with 81, then the quarter final at Maine Road when we dicked them 1-4, there was more.

It's bizarre the hatred we get from other team's fans, it really is

I think this should be investigated, honestly, the fact that so much time was added on as well, looks very dodgy.

Literally looks like he is genuinely upset and almost saying sorry to Pep, it's a glimpse into what I believe is a wider issue in this league.

People might laugh and shrug it off as some conspiracy nonsense but we have seen corruption at all levels in sport, why people think the PL, the most moneywashed league in sports, is above it, I don't know...

Maybe people are worried that if they question the possibility it is happening it will ruin football for them?

I am not one for conspiracy theories, I actually fucking hate that kind of thinking but for the longest time I have suspected it in the PL and I think enough evidence is there to warrant a proper investigation.

If corruption can happen at the top level of government under Boris, it can happen in the PL, make no mistake.
I've been saying this for years mate, the corruption comes right from the top. The club's with the biggest international followings in the World play in the most watched league on Earth.
To perpetuate the brand, these clubs must be winning trophies, and constantly representing the league in the CL. If they're not in there, these international band wagon fans will soon jump ship and follow another team in another league for the reflected glory.

Ours is the most corrupt league on Earth, but it generates billions for so many that a blind eye is turned, particularly by the media who make a mint off it as well.

Those in power, who are the ones who should be policing the game, are the ones who stand to lose the most if a spotlight was shone on the corruption.

So much for the "Beautiful Game."
