It’s really irrelevant who he plays there, you could play Moura or Kulu on the right of a flat 3 for all I care - he’s been wedded to 343 ever since he’s arrived, in spite the fact 2 of our better performances (Liverpool and Leicester) came in a 352.
Maybe he doesn’t think 352 works as effectively in England? Who knows. If it is his “preferred” formation for us, it seems odd he let 3 CMs go.
What I do know is that persisting with 343 isn’t going to help us at all. It’s clear it doesn’t work.
The midfield did not lose us this game.
Both Kane and Son had poor games. A bog standard game from either and we score before they did.
