I really hope the club and Conte both compomise a bit. Fine getting in a couple of 30 year olds but dont pack the side with them and should be balanced out with some youngsters.I'd kinda hope that is the case if Conte has his heart set on a bunch of 30 y/olds.....
Let's then spend what we do have in the kitty on guys that will be around for a while.... Ideally the more 'athletic' positions on the pitch (i.e. WB).
Winks, Doherty, Rodon, Sanchez as well as Lo Celso and Ndombele have to go. Other than Rodon whos never had a chance they've let us down time and time again.
I think his problem is lack of guile or end product. In which case not for me. Royal as shit as he is can tackle. We need a footballer at RWBAaron Wan Bisska anyone? I know he's been struggling at Man Utd. but maybe - repeating maybe - he could improve under other circumstances - which Walker-Peters is an example of. KWP failed to impress 3 head-coaches - as well as the fans - but now he's doing well at Soton.

Wan-Bissaka for sale in summer
Manchester United will sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer, according to reports.
TEAMtalk understand that Ralf Rangnick is set to offload the full-back when he moves upstairs at the end of the season.
The ex-Crystal Palace man has been playing second fiddle to Diogo Dalot since the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November.

I tried not to laugh... I laughed.
Fixed. :contethumb:Funny how people post on here writing like some teenage boy fantasy. We aren’t getting any of the players mentioned by any poster in here. We are going to end up signing players no one has seen or heard of, but are nonetheless experts on.
Clinton Njie plays for Dynamo Moscow, I believe....There's a chance foreign players of the russian league might be available for free soon. Are there some players that could help us?

RWBs we should look into:
1) Ridle Baku
2) Pedro Porro
3) Stefan Lainer
4) Wilfried Singo
5) Tariq Lamptey<<< Genuinely good enough? Physical question marks?
6) Tino Livramento
7) Ricardo Pereira<<<< Physical question marks?
8) Kyle Walker-Peters<<< Genuinely good enough?
9) Djed Spence<<< Genuinely good enough?
10) Manuel Lazzari
Ideally we would try to sign two of these players and get rid of both Royal and Doherty but that will never happen in one summer.
Kid is 19.For now, Livremento would be my 1st option.
I am sure that Spurs are keeping an eye on Livramento but 1) he's ll cost a small fortune, 2) no one seems to know exactly how Chelski's buy-back option will work. Well, here it's said it can be activated in 2023 but it does not explain how that would work out. Can Livramento refuse to re-sign with them? If a 3rd club buys him can Chelski still exercise this buy-back option?

Tottenham set sights on 'mega-money' Livramento deal
Football Insider has learned that Southampton sensation Tino Livramento is a target for Tottenham and their recruitment chief Fabio Paraticiwww.footballinsider247.com
Tottenham transfer news: Paratici working on signing Tino Livramento, fee will be 'mega money' - Sources
Tottenham have set their sights on signing Southampton right-back Tino Livramento this summer – and have already made preliminary moves.
The Londoners are in the market for a wing-back who can play on the right side and fit into Antonio Conte’s system after failing to land Adama Traore in January
A Spurs source has told Football Insider that Livramento, 19, is a leading target for recruitment chief Fabio Paratici and he is already making preliminary moves.
Signing a wing-back who can defend and attack with aplomb is a key priority for the recruitment chief and manager Antonio Conte, as it was in January.
Livramento has made a big impact for Southampton since signing from Chelsea last summer in a £5million deal.
He has started 20 Premier League matches among 24 appearances in all competitions, and been the first choice for the entire campaign.
At Spurs, Matt Doherty has started the club’s recent matches at right wing-back after 2021 signing Emerson Royal was previously the number one for most of the campaign.
Neither has completely convinced Conte and it is likely that a one will leave with a new right-sided defender arriving this summer.
Livramento’s asking price has climbed significantly this season after he moved from Chelsea without playing a single first-team match.
As per Calciomercato last Saturday (26 February), Man United are also keen on the teenager.
The Athletic claimed in September 2021 that Chelsea have a £38million buy-back option which becomes active in 2023.
Former Tottenham right-back Alan Hutton told Football Insider that Livramento is destined for a stellar career.
“It’ll be an interesting one to keep an eye on this summer. Livramento is a brilliant talent who would really improve that squad – especially if they’re looking to play with wing-backs.
“But it’s going to cost them mega-money, that’s for sure.”

That's the sort of clear out we need if we want this squad to have a chance of winning trophies.
Alfie to back up Hugo? Hmmm no thanls.![]()
Igula Our squad is so far off being competitive, this is the sort of radical changes we would need to even be competitive. Not going to happen though.
Genuine question: how many games have you seen of Neves and Bissouma? Not highlights, even extended ones, but full 90?This season, Gouiri has played 19 games at CF, and 3 games at LW.
The fact he's versatile is a strength, means he's back up for Kane & Son. Surely that's what we need to lessen their load?
I did say in the post above, Bissouma only if he's found not guilty. If the trial hasn't happened yet, or he's found guilty, then perhaps we should go for Neves.
The principle, I can agree with.I know this is not going to happen- I've already said that many times.
My point is that our squad needs many out and many in if we are to be competitive- shows the scale of the problem.
The closest Levy has come to a radical window is 15/16. In that summer, he sold 10 players, bought 5, and we also had 5 people coming back from loan.
