Still has areas he can (and will) improve on but his potential is easy to see.
He's got the skill set to do it, but he just looks so excited or nervous in that situation that invariably he hits it straight at the keeper. It's the kind of additional dynamic that could really change up our attack.

VAR was always going to be shit and has proved to be.
Thank god. He's EXACTLY the type of player we need to get rid of immediately and stop giving 3 or so seasons to settle in and find a good run of form.
You either hit the ground running like Bentancur and Kulusevski or you have a full season MAX until we should be looking to replace.

Decent win, albeit not a particulaly good performance. Never look threatened once ahead. So much room for improvement though.
Even though we didn’t have much of the ball I think the second half was much better from us. Reguilon should have scored twice and Kane could have had at least two more.

They really need a better striker than Maupay.
Maupay is decent and a okay Premier League striker. But he isn't good enough to be a main man. Put another striker next to him and Brighton would probably be much better off.
