I am still not convinced about Spence, so maybe he wasn't worth the £15m Boro wanted for him, but he's worth at least £20m now. I doubt Levy dare to "miss out" on Conte's targets this summer like he's done with past managers.
PS! WIth missing out I mean not offering a "decent" fee for the concerning player, as I don't blame Levy for the missed deals on Traore and Diaz. Besides, Kulu and Bentancur redeemed Levy

Tottenham face transfer battle for Djed Spence with European giants watching Boro starlet
EXCLUSIVE: Djed Spence is becoming one of the most highly sought-after young prospects in Europe and could be on the move in the summer.

Middlesbrough ace Djed Spence is being tracked by up to 14 clubs ahead of what is set to be an almighty scramble for his signature in the summer. The 21-year-old wing-back has spent this season on loan at Nottingham Forest, where he has impressed with a string of eye-catching performances in the Championship and FA Cup.
t was widely reported that Boro rejected two late bids from Tottenham in the January transfer window for Spence, with the Teesiders holding out for a fee of at least £15m.
And Spurs may be left to rue their inability to get the deal over the line given the amount of competition they now face.
Do you rate him much above KWP? I admit Spence looks really good in some of the youtube videos, greatly outsizing and outplaying some opponents, but it's also almost all champo level opposition... Buying back KWP would not only give us a very good wingback who can play either side, but also is like buying an extra roster spot given our lack of HG/CT registered players.
I like him, but I don't want him back. He probably doesn't want to come back, and Southampton won't sell for a reasonable price.I get the feeling that KWP isn't that positive about Spurs since he left. He did get a bit of a raw deal by Spurs in the end and was essentially used as a bartering tool when the time came. I'd like him back but who knows what he thinks.
From the little that I have seen of both recently, I think Spence has a higher ceiling and can "dominate" his side, but also seems to be more of a mood player. And, from what I read, Spence's got (or had?) an attitude problem (at Boro), so one is not sure about what one will get with him (well, buying any player is a risk). In KWP Spurs will get a player who seems very willing to improve and's thus willing to learn and, of course, he's a former Spurs academy player; but to me, he still seems a bit suspect defensively,Do you rate him much above KWP? Hahahahaha
This is a player I'd be keen on signing for Spurs. His contract is expiring in 2023. But he may want to join a club where he knows he'll get more regular footy than at Spurs.

Report: Tottenham eye move for Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson
Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson is hot on the radar of Tottenham director of football Fabio Paratici, according to Football London.www.nottinghamforest.news
Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson is hot on the radar of Tottenham director of football Fabio Paratici, according to Football London journalist Alasdair Gold.
The Reds talent has 23 goal contributions this season. A brilliant 15 of those have been goals scored by Johnson, with the other eight coming in the way of assists.
Johnson has kicked on during 2021/22. He was brilliant in League One last season, helping Lincoln to the play-off final with 13 goals and 14 assists.
Lots of Forest fans were desperate to see him get a chance; although very few would have predicted such a barnstorming campaign for the 20-year-old star.
Johnson will have just a year remaining on his existing deal in the summer. Brentford hoped to take advantage of that in January and saw four bids rejected, the last in the region of £20 million.
Forest will hope that they can persuade their academy talent to sign a new deal. If they can’t, however, the Reds could be forced into a sale when the summer transfer window opens.
Yesterday, reputable journalist Gold did a Q&A on the Football London website, where he claimed: “Spurs like Djed Spence. Fabio Paratici went to watch him recently, along with Brennan Johnson.”
Johnson development is best served at Forest
Johnson doesn’t owe Forest anything. As a player, he’s been outstanding this season and without him, the team wouldn’t be in the promotion mix.
He would, however, be wise to understand that at the current stage of his development, Forest is the best club for him.

Report from Colombian journalist hints at free transfer Tottenham swoop for another winger Paratici knows well
Tottenham appear to have been given a lift in their reported interest in signing Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado this summer.www.teamtalk.com
It was suggested that player’s agents had received contact from Fabio Paratici, who worked with the Colombian in Turin, and that the Tottenham sporting director would be ‘glad to welcome him’ in north London.
Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra, who reported exclusively that ‘despite having reached a verbal agreement last October’ with Juventus, the player ‘has not yet renewed’ his contract.
Juve want to offer Cuadrado two more years, with the option of a third. However, that would be at a reduced salary.
Cuadrado wants the two-year deal but at the same salary he is on now.
Cuadrado is no stranger to the Premier League, although his Chelsea spell was hardly a success.
He failed to score in 15 appearances for the club before being loaned to Juventus and then eventually sold.
Things have gone much better for Cuadrado in Italy, however. The winger has notched 24 times in 262 games for Juve, while also winning five Serie A titles.
He has also been a stalwart for Colombia, making 111 appearances for his country.
