I think it was to do with the sell on fee Betis had agreed when signing from PSG, it only applied to the sale transfer fee, but not any loan fees.

So we heavily weighted the initial loan fee, reducing the cut of the total deal that PSG would get, and so reducing our overall outgoing without impacting on the amount that Betis were getting.

I don’t think we need all that. A stellar CM and RWB and we are good. If the former is Savic then go for it

I’m expecting naming rights and / or outside investment this summer so 150M net is conservative. With 2 or 3 new players, we could win the PL next year. That will drift Away as Kane and Son age if we dont gamble now. 22 years of frugal, value based decision making hasn’t worked. Trust Conte and Paratici and back them.
