Pope is very good.. However Johnstone being on a free is right up Paratici's street and addresses an area with low outlay. Him and Dybala on frees would both be great additions and no immediate cost.I hope we get nick pope instead, but he's probably good enough to be a starter at a club like Leicester instead.
That's one way to look at it.Based on the last couple of Inter games I’m not sure Bastoni is first choice.
Belotti? As in that Italian wasteman shit striker?A window of
IN
Johnstone
Kostic, De Vrij, Lamptey or Dumfries
Milinkovic-Savic or Phillips or Bissouma
Dybala
Belotti
OUT
Gollini
Sanchez
Emerson
Reguilon
Winks
Bergwijn
Ndombele
Lo Celse
would be a dream (of course with Kulu and Romero being made permanent as well)
Agree re Bale and Eriksen, wages only so minimal outlay (plus Johnston). Then go big for Savic and the best RWB possible. Would be happy with those 5, plus maybe a CB and then 7 or 8 outI think we need both. Have too many youngsters and you lack spine in big games. I think a big difference between us and Woolwich apart from the managers being a class apart is that we had experience PLers during tough games such as Lloris, Dier, PEH, Kane, Son.
I would love Bale and Eriksen back as they add so much up top. Then a few young and hungry prospects
There's an enormous opportunity this summer.
I'm not for one minute suggesting they won't still be elite....but....
A lot of the best players in the prem above us: de Bruyne, Salah, Mane, Walker, Gundogan, Firminio, van Djik....
..are all turning or sliding past 30. Of course so are Kane and Son. They've all still got seasons to go, but maybe, especially the pace merchants, are past peak. Still excellent of course, and City are reloading with Haaland etc but alongside Chelsea having all sorts of problems we might just be in the mix if we we buy wisely and get a good dose of luck. Plus the World Cup might through some curve balls into the mix.
If they get a bit worse and we get a lot better....not going to be enough to bridge a 40pt gap (fuck me) but...decent chance of the stars aligning for a memorable Spurs campaign 22/23
Martinez , Son Kane Martinez as a front three should be illegal
Of course he's first choice. Muscle injury limiting his involvement recently.Based on the last couple of Inter games I’m not sure Bastoni is first choice.
Martinez is coming into his best now and in the coming years, I think Dybala's best is behind him. But could you see Martinez playing RW? Dybala on a free makes it very enticing though.

He is supposed to be elite when it comes to Argentinian players
Makes sense, him and Bentancur were very close and he knows Romero & Paratici
Let's hope we smash Norwich to confirm CL
We will be in for him , especially if the 3rd party ownership issue has not been sorted , we can then say we tried. If it has been sorted we won’t be interestedI'd be keen. Probably cheaper than Martinez without the transfer fee.
