So 6 June may make things clearer ....... or worst case suggest Bissouma may turn into having a Ched Evans, the risk of which means his valuation becomes questionable whatever his footballing abilities as ultimately public opinion is powerful .

Almost certainly a journalists invention as ManU already have Shola Shoretire - Wikipedia who is Scarlett's main rival in England youth as striker in his age group.

Although to be fair, ManU's striker options with Ronaldo, Cavani (retiring this season ?), Rashford (dreadfully out of form for 2 seasons), Martial (who they have tried to sell for 2 or 3 years), Greenwood (suspended pending court case on rape charges), Lingard (out of contract wants to leave), Sancho (yet to adjust to PL and not looking good in England team either) mean they probably do want a few forward options this summer so they will be linked with whoever might become available.

The obvious thing to fo with Bissouma is sign him on loan with an option to buy. It protects us if he gets charged and means we can check his attitude is good as well. If all that works out then we buy him for a large sum so B&HA win too. If he gets charged or has a bad attitude he remains their problem.

Problem with even a loan for Bissouma, what if he gets charged in September? We'd be a midfielder down with a ridiculous amount of games to go. I think he's an excellent player, would probably be one of my top choices for CM, but if we're still none the wiser by mid June i'd look elsewhere.

Terrible business for Brighton. He's on his last year...... If we chose to we could just take him on a free at the end of the loan.
