Yes 2 proven PL players for £30M. That is smart biz. Not sure we haven’t wrapped up eriksen yet. YB just need to wait on his trial then depending on that get him if ok.
This leaves plenty in the pot for other additions plus the money raised from sales. These would break wage structure either. If we had perisic, YB and ericksen in the bag that improves already to another level. Even without other signings.
Like I said this should be a no brainier for us. Smart transfer activity like we use to do.
Absolutely agree with this. For those concerned about whether Bissouma has the chops, look at how integral Henderson has become to the Liverpool midfield since Klopp got his hooks into him. Comparably speaking, I'd say Bissouma has a higher ceiling under Conte, he improves players, same as Klopp does.

£30M for him and Eriksen, who's quality and work rate we already know about, would be excellent business and would definitely improve our midfield significantly, both from a quality perspective and from a strength in depth perspective, allowing us to rotate and play alternative formations.

Football Insider are literal frauds.
Regardless, no way would West Ham offer us one of their better players.
When they use the word ‘offered’ like that don’t they usually mean his agents are the ones reaching out? Esp if there’s a contract dispute. Although I agree WH would never let him come here.

Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign West Ham star Tomas Soucek, Football Insider understands.

The Czech midfielder’s future is up in the air with talks over a new contract stalling and this site revealed last week (26 May) his relationship with David Moyes has disintegrated.

A Spurs source has told Football Insider that Soucek has been offered to them via agents in a surprising new twist

Soucek’s position at West Ham is shrouded by uncertainty and that is not just due to negotiations over pay rise and extended deal.

It is believed there has also been tension behind the scenes between the midfielder, 26, and manager Moyes.

A source with knowledge of West Ham position’s has told Football Insider that there is a very real chance Soucek will be sold this summer.

But the possibility of him joining Tottenham has been played down, partly due to the historical relationship between the boards of the two clubs.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is known to have blocked transfers in the past, most notably an Emmanuel Adebayor loan move at the eleventh hour, partly due to enmity rising from the Olympic Stadium deal.

Nevertheless, West Ham could have a big decision to make over whether to cash in on Soucek, whose contract expires in the summer of 2024.

Football Insider revealed earlier this year (11 February) that negotiations had opened over a new deal for the central midfielder.

Soucek has been a huge success for the London club since signing in January 2020, initially on a loan deal.

That was subsequently converted into a permanent transfer in the summer of that year for around £15million.

He has been a virtual ever-present in David Moyes’ midfield since his arrival, including the just-completed season in which he made 47 starts among 51 appearances in all competitions.

In total, he has made 105 appearances for West Ham, which have yielded an impressive 19 goals from his defensive midfield role.

They sold us Defoe back then, didn't they?

What's changed?

I can't think of which website is more full of BS; SC or Football Insider.

The SC ITKs at least try and have plausible deniability with their caveats, while FI simply don't give a crap- they keep reporting fake story after fake story and hope no one realises.

So it's all to do with their league position/division status, whether or not they sell players to us specifically?
Its likely that they are looking to sell, know they will face fans backlash so putting this out there as their fans will buy "at least we didn't sell to them'

Who do you recommend?

Leao (Milan)
Nkunku (RBL)
M Thuram (BMG)
Terrier (Rennes)
Embolo (BMG)
Ekitike (Reims)

Edit
The top 2 are clearly better than the others, but may well be out of reach? Ekitike looks to have bundles of ability but is very raw. The other three are all flawed compromises, but at least tick the wide/CF, would be much cheaper than the top 2, all getable, can all play as 9's but can all play as wide FW too,

Because their fans think that we're their London rivals? (rather than our rivals being Woolwich or Chelsea)

We are their rivals they just are not ours, same as most clubs in London for some reason (and Watford /Norwich at times).

In westham defence if ever Millwall were in the Prem we would be 2nd, I don't know Chelsea's excuse.

My girlfriend is a São Paulo fan, they are £90m in debt. No chance he goes until next summer when they plan to sign him on a free. They couldn’t even pay Dani Alves wages and cancelled his contract, hence why he turned up at Barcelona mid season.
