Perisic is 33...
Also Tripps would have cost 15 mil and added one HG player.
He had as many goal involvements in EPL this season as Royal, even though he played 450 minutes....

If you could name one better RWB (realistic) who we have been linked with, then I'd like to know.
If he manages to play 75% of their games (no Europe) I'll agree with you at the end season. Don't see it myself

I am far from a Bergwijn fan (he's trading in on a few dutch friendlies + a miracle vs leicester atm) but that offer is pathetic.
Agreed. I just read that Ajax biggest signing was $24.75M and they’ve only had one signing over $20M whereas they’ve had a multitude of departures over $30M with their biggest being De Jong at $94.6M.

If Ajax aren’t willing to stump up the cash, I dont care how much smoke Van Gaal pumps up his arse, Bergwijn stays. He’s too good a player to let go for that kind of money. A proper club would give us at least 25m for him in this market.

Ajax trying to do a man city on us. Unsettle already unsettled player, while offering a pittance. How much do they actually want him?

I've actually seen him and he is a monster, but as CerealMaterial CerealMaterial said wonder if this is putting pressure on Inter
He'd have to be a central CB right? I've only seen bits but he seems a bit Zouma-like incredible physicality but a bit of a trampoline touch.

Also would he be able to replace Dier as the leader at the back? Dier being mature, experienced, multi-lingual as shown that we do need him to manage the back line Romero and Emerson in particular.

definitely to put pressure on Inter who have started to buy players.

But they need to bank some cash by selling Bastoni and replacing him with the cheaper CB Bremer - thereby banking say 20m.

The threat to buy Bremer scuppers that plan
