Basically saying that Kamada will be leaving to the EPL and Ndicka will extend his contrat.

Eintracht Frankfurt – die perfekte Bühne für Mario Götze

Eintracht Frankfurt: Ndicka bleibt, Kamada weg?

(Ingo Durstewitz).

(Google translation:

But the Japanese are drawn to the island, the Premier League is the measure of all things for Asians. Evan Ndicka should not only stay, but face a contract extension..)

People are quick to forget what kind of player he was. PEH ended in the same goal scoring position every other week and done nothing.

As a midfield rotation against bus parkers, he would be elite.

Arguably our most important player for a while under Poch. Guarantees goals and assists from midfield. No brainer if we can get him, but you get the sense Conte has other priorities. It's a shame because Conte might not be here very long, and Eriksen could be a Spurs legend if he had a good second spell.

Don't mind too much if we go for cheapo options in defence (Spence + Ndicka) as long as we make up for it with our attacking signings.

I'd imagine Spence and Ndicka would cost 50m, add Bissouma's 35 to that and our entire spend will be more than offset by the sales of:
- Bergjwin (25)
- CCV (7)
- Rodon (15)
- GLC (25)
- Reguilon (25)

Still leaves plenty of powder dry to go big for the likes of Martinez, Rafinha, Richarlison, Jesus.
Hope we get another WB, sess is so injury prone. If we really have money to burn, we still need another elite CM, someone who can score/assist while offering decent defensive workrate.

Key info:
Woolwich's bid is thought to have followed this evening but it fell well below Leeds’ valuation and is expected to be rejected out of hand.

After Barcelona, Chelsea are said to be Raphinha’s preferred destination and not only would a move there provide Champions League football but potentially also a better chance of winning major trophies.

Then come Woolwich — they play Europa League football next season — and Tottenham, who qualified for the Champions League and are considering Raphinha but he is not their first-choice option.

What a signing he would be! But Leipzig apparently wants around £75-80m+ for him, and I doubt Spurs are ready to pay that. And he's said he wants to stay at the club. Gvardiol & Romero (maybe add Zabarnyi as future CCB) would keep Spurs rock solid for the next decade.

Joško Gvardiol: RB Leipzig’s Croatian Gem in Defense

You forgot he wants to go to Inter

If it wasn't for oil City, we'd have third highest revenue in a normal season behind United and Liverpool.

United and Liverpool have much bigger fanbases and their shirt/kit sponsor deals are about double what we get. Not to mention sleeve and other sponsors.

United have a bigger stadium capacity, so they can pull in a lot of ticket sales. Liverpool are expanding and will soon have 60k too.

We're not overtaking them without serious success on the pitch, followed by upgraded sponsorships.
They may have comparable stadiums to us, but their ticket charges are lower and they have less corporate.

Utd's sponsorship is dwindling, whilst their share price has crashed. Their stadium is ageing, their training facilities dated...

Their CEO has gone viral chatting to some protestors about how he can't see where he's going to get the type of money they need to upgrade just to keep up with us, let alone City etc.

They're in a bad spot.

No- this isn't accurate.

Ornstein didn't say Woolwich were his third choice necessarily; just that Barca were 1st choice and Chelsea were 2nd choice. After which he'd consider both Woolwich and spurs.

Given he wants CL football, he'd probably pick us over Woolwich; but as the article also said we prefer Richarlison so unlikely to enter into a bidding war.

United are in a bad spot, yes, and long may that continue, but they're still pulling in double the money we are, so it'll take a while.

Liverpool actually grew faster than us since our CL final.

The stadium is a great equalizer compared to the northern teams for the reasons you mentioned, but we still need to win big on the pitch to catch up to them.

We can never demand the 60m that Chavs got from Nike without winning PL/CL severa times, or having our shirt sales grow massively even without titles.
