Or just maybe Boro are try to squeeze every last bit they can out of the deal, as is very much their right, as they very much should do.
That ship sailed about 3 years ago. No interest in him now.The first link is a very good example of how the press can twist a quote totally out of context and add their own meaningless interpretation.
Do I want him at Spurs? No!
He and his mother would be perfect for Woolwich![]()

Report: 'Complete player' would much rather join Tottenham than PSG this summer
Adrien Rabiot prefers a move Tottenham Hotspur over a return to his former club PSG during the summer transfer window.
The Telegraph report that Rabiot wants to test himself in the Premier League and wishes to join an English club who are in the Champions League next season.
That puts Tottenham, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, who are managed by Rabiot’s former Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel, in the frame.

Adrien Rabiot wants to leave Juventus and join a Premier League club.
The 27-year-old has made it clear he intends to quit the Italian giants during this window and they have agreed to his request.
It is understood that the midfielder, who has one year left on his contract, would be available for between €15-20 million (£13-17 million).
Ideally Rabiot wants to join an English club that has qualified for the Champions League but negotiations are yet to take place.
The France international is determined to succeed in England and is excited by the prospect of playing in the Premier League.
Rabiot enjoyed a good relationship at Paris Saint-Germain when Thomas Tuchel was the head coach – Tuchel did not want him to leave the club – but as yet there has been no contact with Chelsea who are in the process of sorting out their approach to recruitment. Tuchel is set to be given more say.
There have been claims that PSG want Rabiot to return but he has absolutely no interest in going back.
Rabiot’s representatives informed Juventus at the start of February that he wanted to leave the club this summer and, after talks with his representatives, they have agreed to his request. As always the negotiations are being handled by Veronique Rabiot.
Juventus return for pre-season training on July 11 and ideally Rabiot would like his future sorted before then but is prepared to wait for the right offer.
Given Rabiot plays for Juventus and the World Cup in Qatar takes place in less than five months’ time – he is a member of Didier Deschamps’ France squad - then changing leagues as well as clubs might be regarded as a risk at this time.
However it is understood that Rabiot does not see it like that and is excited by the challenge and is confident he will quickly succeed in the Premier League which he has always admired and which appears to suit his style of play.
Given Rabiot’s pedigree his desire is, naturally, to join a club that is competing in the Champions League – Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea or Tottenham Hotspur – although it remains to be seen what happens if he receives an offer from Manchester United or Woolwich who are aiming to finish in the top four next season.
There have been reports in Italy that Newcastle United have contacted Juventus to enquire about Rabiot’s availability but that is understood to not be the case.

Well that answers one CB question - will be interesting to see if Inter now needs to sell a 2nd top earner which we may or may not be interested in.
Also probably answers the question posed by some of buying Hakimi - two pieces of information from one tweet can't be bad !
Can you go away for a while again please?Been away for a while. Only 911 pages.
Anyone who thinks Spurs are going to use a whopping 150 million on players are smoking some real good shit. Even more unrealistic is the idea Levy will let our Deadwood go on the cheap.
The first three signings were miracles. Definitely Bargains. Unfortunately not all transfers are. We back to haggling a few million off Jed Spence and making 10001 bids for players. We all know the real issue. Levy wants to buy Low and sell High.
Its sad but I don't forsee players lining up to be a part of The Hotspur dressing room. Its sad, cause with Conté there, we truly have a chance to put trophies in the cabinet.

You might like to know there isn't a single mention of Son going to Real Madrid in the Spanish media. Not even in Marca's highly speculative "Interested in" section.Son is the life and soul of the team, everyone clearly loves him, he plays with a smile on his face and there maybe 3-4 players in his position that are better/ as good as him.
Never sell!
