Why did you come back?
I missed you. I needed to find a few people more delusional than I. I didn't have wait long. The Levy squad is back, as with every season, disliking any post that remotely goes against The Levy transfer strategy.

Wake up. It's not gona happen. 150 million cash injection? Into the squad? Not likely to happen. 60 million for the squad and 90 million to build the new Art Gallery/Museum.

The Spence saga is quite odd. We’re talking relatively “low” dollars, and would go a ways in solving our HG issue.

Not apples to apples, but City spent 40m on Ake for just that reason a few season ago.
And barely played him.
Can someone explain the point of paying over the odds for a homegrown player and not playing him?

As for the difference in the Spence transfer fee, while a relatively low amount, it’s 50% more than Danny Boy values him at. Personally, I think 15m isn’t a bad fee for a HG U21 international although I don’t rate him nearly as highly as some.
If we do move on, then we’ll need to find another worthwhile HG player elsewhere.

No issue with him going Chavs, bit like Rabiot and the like ego has destroyed a career, he is also terrible off the ball, PSG in the games I saw looked better when he got subbed off or wasn’t playing.

My instinct was that he's not a Tuchel player either........ But Tuchel used to manage him at PSG.... Anyone recall how that went between the two?

It's almost as if you want us not to sign players purely so you can get an erection...

Tuchel loved him. Called him the most talented player he has ever worked with, and Neymar had some of his best seasons under him and was apparently not happy he was sacked. Neymar gets a bad rep for being lazy when almost all the coaches/players he's played alongside have said he works extremely hard.

His only issue would be injuries, his record there is poor in recent seasons and not likely to improve from playing in England. But he'd be Chelsea's best player by some distance and would almost guarantee them top 4 if he stayed fit.
