The article basically says that Lenglet has 48 hours to respond to Tottenham... If true, well, it's Lenglet then...

So we either bring in someone else or its him

There's some one on here who claimed they watched 100 Gvardiol games.
Gvardiol. Who has played a grand total of 46 games for RBL and 102 games in his entire career, most of which would never have been televised let alone of interest to world outside of Zagreb.
Don't believe people you don't know. A lot of liars in the world.
I never claimed I have watched all of Hincapie's games though. I just said me - and others - had heard of him a "while" ago

he wont bench anyone, if he is happy to come in as a rotation option fine

60 mill for a rotation option for me is where its wrong

bear in mind thats our joint record transfer fee

rich is a good player but not a 60 mill one

OH that is interesting now.

Please - do name a player that is certain to bench 40 million EUR player who scored 5 and assisted 8 goals in under 1300 minutes of EPL football. Please, do enlighten us. Where are such super certain options buried?!?! +

Leave the Levy agenda at the door, no one cares these days and are looking forwards, not back.

Believe it or not there's a ENIC/Levy thread on here for you to release your pent up frustration, perhaps you cantake your bait to there..
They have nothing real to criticise Levy for in this window so far.
So what can they do to continue their biased agenda ?

Have a go at those that are saying that this is a good window so far, which btw, includes those who've previously criticised Levy.

So boring and so predictable.
But they're supposed to be the "happy" ones.

Get a grip Steve. 2 free transfers and one generally low fee player doesn't absolve 20 years of outright stingeyness.
Talk of a £150m cash injection isn't even that exciting when other teams not owned by countries can spend that year on year.
Levy isn't suddenly a great chairman that deserves everyone's love and admiration. He's the same old Levy he always has been but now we have Conte, who actually have a massive pair of bollocks and will demand he gets what he wants. And in addition to that, for the first time ever, this really is last chance saloon for Levy. If Conte fucks off there's nowhere left to go.
This is not a man who is finally standing up and being top dog. This is a man with his back to the wall and reacting out of sheer fear.

Sounds like you're lumping him in the Ndombele category and he's the polar opposite. The kid looks like he is doing all the right things to improve and is a hard worker. One season under Simeone and his stock will only go up. We'll have plenty of suitors whenever we decide to sell.

Oh no, he's a great guy. But the quality level is questionable & I'm doubtful that his stock will go up under Simeone. He impressed in La Liga before though, so maybe he'll do it again. But from what we've seen at Spurs he's full of heart & tenacity but has badly struggled on the ball.

I've no doubt he will tick many boxes for Simeone, but they have Lodi at LB at the moment and had Trippier on the right not so long ago, so currently they're very used to technically adept fullbacks.

No, but what happens if Davies gets injured?

Initially probably not. Eventually maybe. At the same time, they may have a skill set that suits certain types of games (e.g. ball playing CB for park-the-bus sides) and Davies for other types of games, so there may not be a first choice for all occasions.
Agree with both of these but some of the ones we are being linked with are a lot of money. Think I’d rather spend it elsewhere and go with Rodon as backup unless we are really going to improve the position like Romero did.

Still quietly optimistic we’ll end up with one of Bastoni/Gvardiol/Hincappie
One of those three is not like the others. I really don't think there's anything available to us in the elite spend category. Personally think there's plenty of quality available in the level down from that, not too worried.

Hincapie would need to be a lot better than I've seen to be a difference maker for us this coming year. At 20 he would be a good signing in isolation, but I can't imagine he's what Conte is hoping for at lcb.

Having never seen a single minute of Gvardiol play I can say this with absolutely no authority - you don't spend £50m+ a 20 year old with 46 games to his name. Utter fucking insanity.

If (insanely rich) RBL don't want to sell and the only way to get him is to pay (the insanely rich) RBL what they want, then leave him be. No one will pay it. Not even the oil clubs.
