Son / Kane aren't going to play 60 games this season. Son has had increasing hamstring issues and can't be playing 90 minutes twice a week on top of a world cup....and let's not think about Kane's ankles!

Richarlison (for the umpteenth time) can cover for:
Kane
Son
Kulu
That's 4 players rotating for 3 positions.
Which means they'll still play a lot of important PL and CL games.
We lose either Kane or Son for any length of time and it seriously damages our chances of competing in top 4 and progressing in the CL.
If Richarlison scores the sort and amount of goals he got from the fewer and worse chances at EFC, then £50m is money well invested.
The last time we progressed in the CL, Kane was out for fucking months and even when he came back from injury his form was poor

Though getting in two NON-HG players is problematic.
And everything depends on other movements. For example if we love Royal attitude and want to keep him to cover RWB (while getting attacking minded Spence in and keeping Doherty) and RCB positions and decide to keep Sanchez as well but move on Rodon, I would not even mind only Lenglet coming in.
Cause in such scenario we would have -
LCB - Davies, Lenglet
CCB - Dier, (Romero), Sanchez
RCB - Romero, (Sanchez), Royal
Plus Tanganga who could possibly play both LCB and RCB when needed.
I agree in the sense that it would not be brilliant transfer window from CB optons and we surely could do more. But with one added player, one repurposed - it would not be a catastrophic either.
