He'd be really fun to watch... but really not sure about this one. His output isn't all that. We still lack a good passing/shooting midfielder. Our homegrown situation is a mess. Zaniolo's injury history is no joke.
Maddison seems worth the little extra. Unless we're getting Zaniolo for like 30/40m.
I'm not looking for an argument here, just saying, the WHO states that there isn't sufficient evidence to say this for certain, this is their take on it:
"Research is ongoing to understand the extent to which being vaccinated stops you from becoming infected and passing the virus on to others. More data is needed to know the extent of this protection. There is still a chance you could pass the virus on."
You would like to think they know a bit about it considering their work over the last few years too.
The number of cases being reported at present also suggest that either it doesn't do much to prevent the spread, or all of a sudden there are tons of non-vaxxed people, the distinct lack of fear mongering death stats you see of late also suggest that the current strain isn't much to be worried about either.
From that, I'm merely questioning whether it is worth ruling out a signing purely based on whether they are up to date on their Covid jab.
Feels like a hangover from the Hitchens/Jose days.... For that reason alone it makes me nervous.
I did notice that our entire compliment went to South Korea - essentially meaning they're all vaxxed (think Korea have those rules?). Tbh I don't mind it, would be annoying to have players missing pre-season every year, probably hard to be impartial on this as an Aussie though.

Zaniolo is a top top player, has all the attributes, skill and talent and imo much higher ceiling than Maddison, he can do what maddison can do plus more as he is versatile and can play effectively in the WF position too, the ONLY concern and a huge one is with Zaniolo is 2 ACL injuries he has had on both knees.
And it mitigates the symptoms mightily...
We already cant register 5 foreign trained players for Europe. Its possible we'll be ok as Lo Celso, Ndombele, Gil, Reggie and one of Doc/Emerson will likely go. But we've still got to do those deals, if we keep adding foreign trained players we're making it impossible for ourselves.

Such things always work in probabilities, the probablity of getting covid drops significantly, probability of death drop to almost nothing, and of course the same when it comes to spreading it.

Vaccine mandates are very much the norm here, all of our major sporting competitions have them and a lot of workplaces do - it's a lot more normalised to need a vaccine to work here so while I don't see it as a problem that Spurs would have this policy I understand why a lot of people would dislike it.
If people want to object on A) political grounds that's one thing; be objecting on B) practical grounds just reeks of A.

The Viola had initially asked to take the player on a dry loan, so without any option or obligation at the end of the season, but that was rejected by Spurs.
Antonio Conte does not see Lo Celso in his plans for this season and has put the player on the transfer market, hoping to raise funds for his other targets.
According to the latest report from Times writer Gary Jacob, the updated bid is a loan with option to buy for £15m (which is circa €17.5m).
The 26-year-old Argentina international has 39 caps to his name, in which he scored two goals for his country.
He also has Italian citizenship, meaning he will not take up a non-EU slot in the squad, and his salary can benefit from tax cuts for people coming to Italy from abroad.
Tottenham purchased Lo Celso from Real Betis in 2019 for a total €48m, but loaned him to Villarreal for the last six months of the 2021-22 campaign.
