Ex-Spurs Player Tanguy Ndombele

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

"West Ham star Declan Rice has been speaking about some of his toughest opponents and says Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele is right up there.

“This one will surprise you. He gets slammed and hammered a little bit. It’s going to take you back, but Ndombele, who was with Spurs,” Rice said.

“The perception of him, it shouldn’t be what it is because I tell you now, he is one of the toughest I have played against. He is top. Just a street footballer on the pitch. He takes the ball anywhere, little flicks and tricks. Like he doesn’t care. He does everything so confidently. With players like that, you just have to let them play. Give them the freedom to go out and do whatever they want. When we played against Lyon in the Europa League, he was incredible. He’s a top player.”

De Jong is willing to take a pay cut to stay at Barca because he doesn’t want to go to a club who want him & Barca are happy to let him go. Can we do this to this idiot ? Or is it due to the mess Barca are in they can do this?

Sack him for failing to achieve an acceptable standard in his work.

- I am guessing that any agent worth their salt will insist on some clause that obviates this - but if clubs insisted on it - then they could refuse to employ anyone who doesn't have the confidence in their own skill and work ethic to keep it in.

If it were possible then the club should cut its losses, at least he will be off the books and no longer a drain on resources

I'd like to see City and PSG put in a formal complaint against Barcelona and the football authorities for financial irregularities.
FFP seems to be dead in the water ( unless it’s some small club ) but I just don’t understand why officials or financial investigations aren’t questioning what Barca are doing . They are using future earnings as collateral to buy players yet they owe players months of wages.

What's more concerning is that you have players not being paid that don't seem to want to leave.
Most sane people would be trying to get their contract cancelled with immediate effect so go somewhere that will pay them.
What are Barcelona doing to keep them onside? Are they promising them money they don't have for a future date?

ChatshitHoHo again defending this clown because Declan Rice also has two eyes to easily realise how much ability he has.

Eagle-eyed Declan also spotted that he plays 'like he doesn't care'...

...because he doesn't, which is the cunting problem.

Fuck him.

According to Sébastien Denis Marseille briefly considered a move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombélé (25) – however the complexities of the deal have swayed the club to look at other options, quickly moving on from the Premier League midfielder who was on loan at Lyon last season.

Earlier in the window – according to sources contacted by Get French Football News – Lyon declined to enter discussions with Tottenham for the midfielder because the Premier League side were looking for an expensive permanent deal for the Frenchman.

Tottenham were reportedly offering around the player to a series of clubs to take the former Amiens and OL man on a permanent deal, with the Premier League side hopeful about Villareal as a possible destination – as the player is hoping for Champions League football.

Last year Ndombélé was sent out on loan in the second half of the season where he made 11 appearances for Les Gones in Ligue 1, making two assists. This is after he struggled to feature in Antonio Conte’s plans in the Premier League, where the player only made nine appearances and scored one goal. It was reported in May by TF1 that Lyon chose not to trigger the loan-to-buy option for the midfielder – which was valued at €60m.

...........He was a fuckin' ghost in the reverse fixture.

Substituted at half-time wasn't he? Probably because West Ham were just bypassing the midfield with easy counter attacks & the flashy passenger is utterly useless when his team don't have possession of the ball.

I've no doubt that when Ndombele plays well he's a tough opponent, he has all the tools. Problem is he's also likely a nightmare to play with because he has to be carried by more diligent teammates, and when the going gets tough he's done. But yes, the 1 in 5 times he decides to have a good half he's impressive.
