I just don’t get how people can still support him , yes he can play football but it’s a team game & unless he intends to make a career out of being a freestyler then his talents is useless.
He’s a legend in his own mind and it appears that his mind isn’t in the best of shape.
A wasted talent. If football was still an amateur sport he'd be a world beater. Zero professional pride from what I've seen to date.

People? Come on .. it's one guy. Everyone else here gave up on this guy a long time ago. I was a huge fan when he arrived & gave him a chance under Nuno & Jose but it's done. The guy is stinking out the place & nobody decent wants him even on a freebie.
I’m not just talking about the forum . I’ve heard pundits & players still praise him spouting out words like “ incredible talent “ , which I find ridiculous.
He does have incredible talent though. If he made 70k per week we wouldn't be in this situation, a decent club will have taken a chance on him. Unfortunately we have him signed to the same wages as the likes of Kane and Van Dijk with 3yrs left on his deal.

The guy can clearly do things many other players can only do in their dreams or on their consoles.

As Matt1882 says he is a talent .. just an unfulfilled one. And that's his reputation everywhere now so he's only gonna find opportunities with clubs on a budget who are happy to take a punt. None of them will take on his wages though.

Conte exposed Rice big time back in the Spring. Basically give him the ball and space and he did absolutely nothing with it. Bit off topic, but relevant to Declan (was Irish once) Rice.
Rice is class. Shouldn't have even played that game as he was visibly shattered from the 120 minute shift he'd put in vs Sevilla 2 or 3 days before.
I think if you have talent but can’t be arsed or cannot implement in its natural surrounds , footie being a team game then , is it really talent ?

Neither scenario really implies the individual can't do it in match. Ndombele clearly has performed in games. For Lyon and, to a lesser extent, for Spurs.
In basketball it's maybe different, a player on an empty court shooting 3 pointers is different to doing it without any challenge. But, if one person can do it with (near) 100% accurancy and others can't, he/she is still more talented than the others.
I just meant for all his tricks & skills it’s a pretty useless talent if he can’t do it in real life .
He’s probably played 200 games as a professional footballer , I bet anyone would struggle to give 10 games when he really shone
