It's sort of meh given for a lot of the season the tactic for Newcastle was give him the ball. Howe took over from Bruce and actually turned them in to a team. He's a talented, exciting footballer & better than Adama but he's still a headless chicken and a bit of a maverick.
Plus after the City game Newcastle probably stick some silly value at him. I don't really buy the links, he's very much not what we need & on paper very ill suited to the manager. He'd piss a lot of people on here off.

Different league and it’s very obvious why his performance at Woolwich is a more realistic example of what his Chelsea performance would be.
I would expect he’d do better at Chelsea as they aren’t as much of a mess but he hasn’t showed he can be a good PL striker in the last few years.

agreed. Look, ASM and Traore have value, but realistically are they even a 10% upgrade on Moura? They don’t particularly offer anything Lucas doesn’t. I’m not even sure Traore is an upgrade at all tbh.
We have yet to be linked with anyone I’d characterize as a clear upgrade on Bergwijn btw. Maddison and Zaha the only exceptions but they’ll cost £60m. I can accept Malinovskyi as at least he offers something different in a profile we are lacking.
