This board has some weird obsession with hating on every player that is pacey and a good dribbler.

Many fans overrate ASM, Traore, Zaha /etc, so now there’s a group of people that are overcompensating and act like these players are terrible.

The real answer is that these players are very useful in some situations and their flaws stick out if they aren’t in the right situation… but these players are certainly not as poor as many on here think.

They suit clubs that rarely face a parked-bus.... But players that boast little more than pacey dribbling aren't much use otherwise.

It's problematic enough that Son struggles to make an impact in such situations; but we really don't need to clutter the squad up with one of a number of jacked-up Lucas Mouras.

....Then of course with have Rich who's good for running at defences to cause a little proverbial chaos too.

We already thrive in counter attacking situations so really, what is the "right situation" that we don't already have covered?

I dream of playing for Tottenham too

Is there a league table of academy products about? I feel like we don’t produce our fair share of PL regulars, esp considering facilities and funding.

Or have I just made that up.

Edit: just googled it. Players in PL, Champ, L1 and L2:

1. Manchester United 71
2. Chelsea 52
3. = Tottenham Hotspur 46
3. = Everton 46
5. = Manchester City 45
5. = Woolwich 45
7. Reading 42
8. West Ham United 39
9. Liverpool 36
10. = Blackburn Rovers 34
10. = Aston Villa 34

I stand corrected. Although producing a load of cloggers for Grimsby Town isn’t much use.

Chelsea was sold for 4.25 billion pounds. When you say Abramovich isn't demanding his money back makes no difference.

That debt doesn't make them wealthy now does it?
If you're implying that the 4.25 billion is debt that will burden Chelsea, you're wrong. Boehly's group didn't buy Chelsea with... Chelsea's money. The debt is on the buyer not the club.
