Agreed. The former Yugoslavian nations are pumping out some incredible talents these days, and Serie A in particular seems to have quite the stranglehold on that talent. Would be a good area to generate interest in and as a result later down the line reap the benefits of recruitment.

Even if he were to go Milan, I guarantee you the club will not rest on Holtby and Gylfi. AVB has been hunting his immediate No 10 for several weeks now.
Gylfi isn't in the same league as Eriksen (no pun intended). I'm not yet convinced about Holtby either. I think he's been lost in the flood somewhat with the quality of what's come in so far.
I think we will sign Erikson. I think he will be an improvement. I don't know where there is in the team for Siggy. I like him and want him to do well, but I don't see him getting ahead of others in the squad to be honest.
Supersub - which will mean he'll have to worker harder to perfect his game and show that he might have more to offer, or try and fail, which will mean it's time for him to leave.
Liverpool might want him.....
He has the mentality, determination, and skillset to carve himself a perfectly fine space in our squad. I'm not worried about Holtby at all, and I'm a huge fan of the guy. Siggy though, his prospects are hurting after today's pickups.

But they won the league 11 points clear and have the same team! I don't get how people are writing off Man Utd already. I could understand it a bit in pre-season but they've won convincingly early on in the season now.
Same reason I've said all along. Sure they have some great players, but overall they do not have the quality empirically that should correlate with their levels of success. What their players have had is a mentality of belief, belief that they're better than who're they're playing and that they will win. However, I believe a big part of that was Sir Alex Ferguson. They'll still do well of course, but they won't have that silverware winning mentality anymore. While I don't want to quite use the term "exposed," I think they'll falter a bit.
Lamela's natural position is behind the striker, Roma moved him out wide because totti plays in that hole.. We dont know how avb will utilise him but seeing how bale started on the left in most games but interchanged with Dempsey, and how lamela is being purchased to replace bale, we may see that happening with him too..
I agree they will drop a bit, but that far? Ferguson did choose Moyes and will still be there behind the scenes.
