Small bit frustrating that we can't get fees for these players, but Lo Celso, Ndombele and Reguilon are all at teams and leagues that should hopefully rehabilitate their reputations. Not sure what to make of Winks at Sampdoria.. feel like he would have done okay on loan at Everton or Bournemouth for the year.
There wasn't any interest in him.

Winks should enjoy himself, and drown himself in Italian pussy on the Italian Riviera.

He won't want to come home.

What was actual playing.time.for.each? If Lucas only.played 10 mins per game and zaha played 90 them that skews the stats a little right?

I assume this is Prem only. Stats from when Lucas signed:

Zaha: 42 goals and 17 assists in 12,813 minutes (142 games)
Goal or assist every 2.40 games.

Lucas: 19 goals and 16 assists in 7,759 minutes (86 games)
Goal or assist every 2.46 games

I think for 25 million he has been great value and worked out much better that some of our more expensive signings.
Folks seem to move from one hate figure to the next.
Moura has been a good player for us and will see out his contract. Why shouldn’t he? His semi final hat trick put Spurs firmly back on the map. He may blow hot and cold but he was on fire in the biggest game in decades for us. He should have started the final (although that wouldn’t have changed Sissoko going full imbecile in the first 10 seconds.)
Personally I will always give much love and respect to the little bald prince.

No supporter should EVER forget this.

Chelsea have reportedly changed their minds on Trevoh Chalobah, meaning clubs such as Tottenham, Aston Villa and AC Milan will no longer be able to sign him on loan.

Chelsea put Chalobah on the loan market on August 18. At that time, they wanted the centre-back to pick up more senior experience elsewhere.

The Blues also didn’t feel they needed Chalobah to remain at Stamford Bridge amid the pursuit of Wesley Fofana. After a couple of successful bids, Chelsea now look set to land the Leicester City man.

According to various outlets, including The Athletic, Chelsea have come to an agreement with Leicester for Fofana’s signing.

As per RMC Sport, the Frenchman is close to becoming the world’s most expensive defender. Chelsea will pay an initial £70m for him, though the deal could rise to more than £80m through add-ons.

Chalobah will certainly fall down the pecking order once Fofana arrives in west London. This has put plenty of teams on Chalobah’s trail.

Among them are Italian sides Milan, Inter and Roma. From England, interested clubs include Tottenham, Villa, Leeds, Nottingham Forest, Southampton and Everton.

But they will all be left disappointed if the latest rumours are true. Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims Chelsea have completed a U-turn on Chalobah’s future.

Chelsea change their minds on Trevoh Chalobah
They now want the 23-year-old to remain at the club, rather than spending a season out on loan. This will ensure Chelsea have enough options in defence in case the likes of Thiago Silva or Cesar Azpilicueta get injured.

The Chelsea decision is shown by Thomas Tuchel’s selection on Saturday. Chalobah was selected in a back four alongside Reece James, Silva and Marc Cucurella against Leicester. After an eventful first half, Tuchel changed this to a back five by bringing on Azpilicueta.

Chalobah’s entourage have apparently told Milan and Inter that they will no longer be able to capture the former England U21 international. Instead, the two Serie A giants will have to look at alternative signings in defence.

This is the same case for English sides Tottenham, Villa and Leeds, plus others.

Chalobah is clearly impressing Chelsea coaches and Tuchel, otherwise they would not have come to this decision.

It will be tough for him to get into the starting lineup once Kalidou Koulibaly returns from suspension. But Chalobah has looked comfortable whenever he has played for Chelsea and he will therefore fancy his chances of making more than 20 appearances this season.

Arguably his best opportunities will come against lower half Premier League opposition and in cup matches. Good performances in these games may see Chalobah force his way into Tuchel’s plans for the biggest games.

If Lucas can't get a start how the fuck is he supposed to be better than a PL striker who is?

Lucas made 51 starts over the past three seasons Zaha 87 so if you want to cut to the chase take away a third of Zaha's goals and he still offers a better return on time played for goals scored.

Mix it anyway you want even do a vote in here and Zaha would be by far the number one choice by a Country mile.

Zaha can take any defender on, runs at them and through them, Moura just runs down dead ends, and more rabbit holes than Bugs fucking Bunny.

No need to be so aggressive. It was a polite question and I have never even said who I would prefer. I have zero skin in the game and was purely asking. Jesus Christ.

As it happens: neither of them.

Nothing at all compared to Moura's hat-trick of 3 years ago. Was simply wonderful.

Think the dates might be messed up here.

His first season for us was pretty good. Him and Sandro were a fantastic central midfield pair. We only lost THREE league games Dembele started in that season (12/13). Everton (A), Liverpool (H) and Fulham at home.

His second and third seasons for us though? Pretty poor.

In the 13/14 season AVB had pretty much coached us to be the most boring team possible which hindered Dembele completely. Basically nullified him. Then Sherwood came in and it wasn't much better for him. Failed to make the squad in 9 of his 22 games in charge and subbed off at half time in 2 of his 11 starts.

Onto his third season (14/15) and Poch had come in. But again, not much better for him. I am not entirely sure Poch rated him all that much in the beginning. He only started 10 league games all season and we only won 5 of those 10 games he started in. Rumours of him leaving for Italy came in January that year and we were close to selling him.

It wasn't until 15/16 that we finally started to see the consistent Dembele we came to know and love. Which was four years and three managers into his Spurs career. And even then it took a while to get going. He started the season playing on the right wing and it wasn't really until October of that season did we finally start to realise, damn, Dembele is good. Performance at home to Liverpool. Other than injuries, fitness or suspension, Dembele pretty much started every single league game going forward from then. In the 11 games he missed that year, we only won 4 times.

Dembele was out the team, Bentaleb and Mason were first choice pair, and to be fair, before Bentalebs balls grew way too big, that was a good pair, contextually to where we were (Mason came on when we were struggling and changed the game with drive).

Then Dembele was reported to have gone to Poch privately and said “what do I need to do better to win a place”, that coincided with us clicking as a Team, then a beautiful 2 seasons followed.

While not getting fees is somewhat frustrating, getting Ndombele, Lo Celso, Reguilon, Winks, Gil, and Tanganga out saves 30m+ on wages this year.

Hopefully they play well and rebuild their value and the continental clubs are less skint next summer.

Not sure what their total wages are but my guess is that we’ll be subsidizing (a large) part of several of these players wages. For example, according to capology, Winks would be the second highest paid player at Sampdoria comfortably.

Doesn't seem like we're subsidizing much of Ndombele or Lo Celso based on reporting, Atletico can comfortably Reguilon as long as they aren't paying a fee, they have a substantial wage structure. Unclear on Winks, but if he's not their highest paid player then I'd imagine they can cover it.
