I'm very tempted to play 352 in this. Wouldn't mind seeing Kane play as a 10 in this. Richarlison to occupy Zouma and Son running beyond their defensive line.
You get the better of Rice and Soucek in this and that's 75% of the battle won. I watched them against villa, dreadful game. They had nothing going forward. A lucky deflected shot looped in.
However, with Bentancur out, Conte goes with 343 here.
I'm also hoping Spence plays this one. Freshen up the WBs, I think it's a good game to play him. He got his debut on Sunday but the kind of character he is, he'll relish playing this kind of game.
I think Richarlison should also start, but instead of Kulusevski actually. He looked out on his feet against Forest when he came off and this game may be 1 day too soon, even though he played well. Deki more effective for this game coming off the bench IMO. We've already seen how important the subs are, definitely think Deki and Perisic can provide something in the second half. Antonio will be throwing himself around at one end, we need Richarlison to give some back at the other. Son will hopefully be out to prove a point.

I think those changes are necessary. I like consistency but we looked lethargic and playing with heavy legs towards the end of the Forest game. We know they will come at us with energy, we have to match that intensity.

We definitely watched a different game because everybody looked fresher in the second half than the first. Kulu didn’t look tired. You must have been watching the Forest players who could barely move the second half. While we were having our way with them.
