Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We’re slowly starting to lose that claim of being a bit soft, which is great.

“Spursy” and “Dr. Tottenham” are tags that we’ve been stuck with for so long and whilst the football we’ve been playing hasn’t been the prettiest, getting results which we wouldn’t have in the past in a step in the right direction.

I’d rather get wins playing ugly/dirty than play dazzling football just to lose.

If he’s interested in extending surely that means we’re building a team to challenge.

Hope it’s true, if he commits I think the club will feel more comfortable backing him rather than worry that he walks and they’re stuck with players that suit his specific system on big contracts.

Part of the DOFs job is to ensure that a squad is built that transcends the individual manager.

But I don’t understand? Joan Thomas told me Conte hates levy? (*despite conte literally saying he gets on very well with levy) and that he’d be gone in no time?!

This is weird!

As a life long spurs fan, I can say our biggest flaw has always been consistency and being a soft touch.

Conte hates losing and has been rewiring the club starting from defence and consistency. I'm happy to wait a couple of seasons for that to eventually translate to enjoyable football.

The football IMO isn't that bad, people are just going OTT because it feels like we have another Jose on our hands where the football wasn't sustainable and it eventually crashed AND Woolwich are playing good football so people are making a comparison and looking at them with green eyes but with Conte's football we know it works very effectively WHEN we're able to execute it properly. We've seen what happened last season at times when we've racked up heavy scorelines because our execution was better on the ball.

We know his football is setup to be mid to low block and counter for the most part but the difference between him and Jose ball is that we have a deliberate plan to evade the press and we have a pattern to get out when we are hemmed in, what's let us down this season is our execution, we've legit had chances where we should be executing the final pass better, if you watch the Woolwich game again or watch MOTD highlights we had so many chances where we fucked up the final ball, same for the Frankfurt match.

We are, but until we win a trophy, rivals will continue to mock us constantly

Is a correction in our future?
