Other than Kane he's our only all rounder forward. The rest are so technically deficient in so many aspects of football.

Son is basically useless it's a banger or a 1v1 vs the keeper, Rich is a bit of a Sissoko, the rest not even worth mentioning.
 
when the fuck is he back? hes moved into spot as our main man imo. when hes flying we are actually a very good side and a joy to watch. without him we are boring and struggle.

What makes you think he ever will be back :D ?

Some very light injuries mean 6 to 8 months pause. His was just light.
Stop doing this to yourself and assume he'll never be back, cause our medical department got their hands on him...

I actually think that Gil works best as Dejan's rotation option. Gil prefers to play on the right so that he can cut in on his left similarly to Dejan.

He can play on the left obviously. But I remember reading that his preferred position is out on the right.

Thought it was the other way with him always mainly playing on the left flank? When I saw him for Spain and was it Getafe on loan as well.

You're right. But I do think that he can work as the bench option for Dejan. Rather him than Moura at this point.

Last season he played half his games as a LW, and the other half split evenly between AM or RW according to Transfermarkt.

Yeah definitely prefer him to the other options we have, like Richie should stick to playing centre or on the left going forward.

i thought he was a left winger and conte seems to be forcing him on the right. kulu is good enough to play anywhere across that line as his gil. proper footballers.
 
I wouldn't mind seeing Gil and Kulu on the right at the same time. Conte said Kulu could be a RWB, and I still remember when Gil and Skipp completely battered Traore under Nuno, he might be an option too.

Unlikely though, since Conte doesn't like to experiment.
