I'm not going to give you a disagree, because you're Mrs P, but although you're 100% right about the idiots, in addition to those morons, the tech just isn't good enough yet to judge very close offsides accurately.
Until the tech becomes accurate, I'd rather leave offsides to the idiots running the line, in preference to the idiots at Stockley Park.
Sure, we'll still get mistakes from the linesmen/women, but at the moment we're having the life sucked out of the game AND WE'RE STILL GETTING MISTAKES.

The next 2 games feel massive. The difference between 3rd and last 16 of CL compared to say 5th and dumped in the Europa seems pivotal.
